Dream Views & Chef's Kitchen-Modern, Mountain Home w/ Hot Tub

Stunning, comfortable, quiet, custom mountain home. This beautiful Alyeska/Girdwood home is located above all the others (literally) and has unparalleled Inlet views of the Turnagain Arm and surrounding mountain ranges. Fantastic views from every window of this three story home (including all three bedrooms), the hot tub and the fire pit!! Nobody has to sacrifice their epic Alaskan experience in this mountain home. So many homes in the Girdwood area only offer peekaboo views of mountains, but this is not the case at this modern mountain home. Everyone can enjoy the expansive views while lounging in the living room, eating at the dining room table, or cooking up a chefs dinner in the kitchen. The views truly are panoramic at this unique Girdwood property.

This home is thoughtfully designed with 3 bedrooms that easily sleep 10 people. I can accommodate up to 13 if the additional 3 guests are children. Bedroom #1 has a king bed w/ ensuite bathroom. Bedroom #2 has a queen bed w/ ensuite bathroom. Bedroom #3 is an oversized bedroom that has 1 King bed, 4 twin beds, and 1 full size sleeper couch. Custom, hand made tile in every bathroom, so nobody feels left out. All the linens at this property are kept new, fresh, and spotless. Cleanliness is a top priority at this property. We make sure the house sparkles before your arrival.

The home also features an extra large, private, 8 person hot tub spa on the second floor deck overlooking the inlet and surrounding mountains. The views from the private spa are impressive, and a favorite place for guests to sip their morning coffee before heading out on their adventure for the day. The spa is kept sparkling clean and we refresh the water frequently to maintain a clean space for guests to enjoy.

The third floor chef's kitchen was designed for hosting gourmet meals for family/friends and is fully stocked with every pot, pan, and utensil you could possibly require (including a kitchen-aid stand mixer and vitamix blender). The kitchen includes high quality cooking knifes, steak knifes, and a set of fish fillet knifes. We also stock the kitchen with a large variety of spices, sweeteners, tinfoil, saran wrap, and food storage containers. We hope you feel right at home with the array of morning drink options including a coffee bean grinder, drip coffee maker (filters provided), french press, and an assortment of organic tea. The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel, non stick and cast iron pots and pans. All you need to bring is the food, which can be stored in the full size fridge, or separate full sized freezer.

The home has heated polished concrete floors and two large private decks, which are perfect for grilling your fresh caught salmon (on the extra large, 6 burner, Weber grill) while watching the sun set over the water. Speaking of Alaska's famous midnight sun, all the bedrooms have blackout blinds to ensure you have a restful sleep after your full day of activities.

Close to the hotel and world class restaurants, yet tucked away from any busy Girdwood streets with traffic noise. Berry picking is right outside your door. Hiking and biking trails are everywhere you look. Free to guests to use during their stay (please request at time of booking): pack-n-play. The home is equipped with toys, books and 2 full game cabinets of board games and kid games to keep everyone occupied.

The dining table is 10 feet long and the oversized walnut butcher block island/breakfast bar in the kitchen provides additional seating options. The living room, dining area, and kitchen are all located on the third floor to take advantage of the spectacular views surrounding the home. Kitchen and Bathroom countertops are soapstone, all appliances are high end stainless steel including the 48" Thermador gas range top. Full laundry room on second floor (we provide laundry soap). There is no garage parking available at this home.

The location of this home was specifically chosen for the privacy and stunning panoramic views. The views of the inlet are very rare and unique in the town of Girdwood, and make for awe inspiring sunsets. Being at the end of a less traveled street also makes for little to no traffic noise during the sleeping hours. The private fire pit in the front yard is perfect for roasting hot dogs, chatting about the favorite parts of your day, and sipping hot cocoa after a day of adventures.

Any additional daytime visitors/guest must be pre-approved prior to their arrival. The property has a ring doorbell and a security camera overlooking the driveway.
