The house is on 2/3 acre, with loads of space for run and play. The yard is in the process of being restored. The peaches and blackberries from the garden are delicious! Please lock all doors and windows when you leave.
Quiet time 10pm - 7am.
Trash is collected once a week, early Wednesday morning. Take the garbage bin to the curb on Tuesday evening.

We were a little concerned when we arrived because the area by the driveway looked clear and pristine on the VRBO site. When we arrived, it was covered with weeds and the grounds looked unkept. However as we entered the home we were pleasantly surprised. The home was clean, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen had all the amenities we needed except the aluminum (we forgot)!We appreciate the efforts the owners put into providing a comfortable, relaxing place for their guests and would definitely recommend their home to friends coming to visit the Kanab area!
The description and information provided by the host was spot-on accurate. Parking was safe and secure with use of the garage. The home is welcoming and clean and has everything needed for a few days or a few weeks! There were coolers available for use in the garage and lots of information on local attractions. The host communicated effectively as needed and was very friendly with easy check-in/out process. A review of this rental wouldn’t be complete without mentioning the scenic backdrop! Fantastic view of the red rock cliff right out the back door; outstanding!
The back yard is beautiful. Well equipped home with everything you could need. 2 grocery stores in town and restaurants. Close to Zion and Bryce Canyon and the ride there is amazing.
The location is amazing with the cliffs literally in the backyard.The house is quaint and charming.Only downside in my opinion is the carpeting is worn and probably time to be replaced, but I would not let that stop you from staying here.
The house has plenty of room and beautifully decorated. The outside area is lovely along with the amazing view. Contact with the owner was very easy with prompt responses. So comfortable and cozy that it felt like being at home. Highly recommend this rental.
Fantastic vacation home! Beautiful location with amazing views. The outside space is relaxing and spacious. The house was very clean and had everything we could need and more. The beds were comfortable. The pictures don't do it justice. We would definitely stay here again.
I want to give 5 stars because the location was great, the size was just right, there were lots of towels, my kids liked that even though the bedrooms were smaller, they could have their own room, and the kitchen seemed to have what it needed. The only problem is it was not quite ready for us when we arrived, but the owner was very quick to respond and take care of things.

We stayed here as a halfway point between our Zion and Grand Canyon visits. This house was comfortable and perfect for our needs - a place to make a nice meal and relax as we prepared for a big hike. Great communication with the owners.
We enjoyed our time at this house in Kanab as we did day trips to area national parks etc. The property owner was very responsive when we had questions.
Really nice and spacious house and very well equipped with everything you need. Well located for Zion park, entering though the less busy east entrance, and we also visited Red canyon (Peek-a-boo) and the animal sanctuary, both very close. The owner is very quick in responding and very friendly. Would definitely recommend.

My three boys and I love Kanab and the surrounding areas so much. We truly enjoyed our lives there for 15 years, and will be happy to call it home again in our retirement, many years until then. The community is friendly, offering a smile and hello, and many fun local events year round. We loved living in a place where travellers from all over the world come to vacation. We have hiked Angels Landing, gone sledding in the sand dunes, stopped for the famous cookies at Jacob Lake, hiked the area so much all of our white socks are pink. I moved to Kanab from France. Although we grew up in amazing places, we love Kanab the most.
Why they chose this property
This home is our dream home. The location, size, surrounded by nature and perfectly starlit skies. We have spent many hours, days, weeks, landscaping, building onto the home, and taking tender loving care of this house.
What makes this property unique
The land is larger than a standard house lot. It is 2/3 acre, which allows us to do quite a lot of gardening, and create unique gardens and landscaped areas that can serve different purposes. The secure fenced yard is a must for our kids. We enjoy the outdoors very much and spent as much time as possible playing in the yard. And you can't beat the views. The red cliffs are just behind our back wall. This house has the right amount of privacy and seclusion to enjoy your life indoors and outdoors, while being within walking distance to town and the pool, park, etc.
