This little hidden away property was lovely, super quiet and had everything we needed, including a very comfortable bed. Located close to lots of beautiful places and perfect for a get away in Cornwall.
Excellent property, quiet, very clean with all the modern equipment you could want. Having viewed all the photos before arriving, it was deceptively larger than expected and very comfortable. At 6ft tall, care was required to avoid two low points of the bedroom ceiling. Wonderful owners on hand at end of the drive and extremely helpful for any advice wanted including traffic news !

Hi Trevor - we are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us, thank you for your review and we hope to host you again
The property was of a very high standard. Clean, comfortable and well equipped. It was a pleasure to come home to every day. Stuart was very helpful answering questions in advance and making us feel welcome with a very nice welcome pack of fresh bread, milk, coffee capsules, jams and sugar.

The photo's do not do the cottage justice. Wonderfully clean, spacious and homely. The property is very private and in a beautiful location. I would highly recommend a stay here and I am sure we will be back.

About the host
Hosted by Stuart Kirk
I lived in the home counites until 2005 when I moved to cornwall. I recently took early retirement and created Rockley Cottage as my first project. We live next door to the cottage, so we are on hand to answer any questions or queries travellers may have.
Why they chose this property
The property is in a rural location and was only completed July 2019 so everything is virtually brand new. The local inn (The Crown) is just a short walk or with a car you can be in lostwithiel in 10 mins and Fowey or Charlestown is just 20 minutes away. The location is very central for reaching the main roads (A390 and A30) should you wish to explore further down the county.
What makes this property unique
Our cottage is loacted in a very rural setting with very little traffic. But just 10 mins away you can be in Lostwithiel, or Llanhydroc house or on the A30 heading further afield. We also have easy access to the south coastal towns of Looe, Polperro, Fowey, Charlestown and Mevagissey. There are plenty or wlks or cycle routes that you can take from here too,
