Excellent location close to the water. A nice walk. Close to downtown and other activities. Love the location. Place is comfortable but a bit hard to find the first time. Very well equipped and comfortable place to stay.
Would stay here again for sure, great location, host was easy to contact, addressed all concerns quickly and appropriately. Thankful for a nice property.
Perfect place to stay in Hyde Park. Communication with owner was great and prompt. Home was very clean and beds were comfortable. Easy walk to Hyde Park Village.

Great!!
The area is very nice. Lots to do and good eating. If you like night life there’s that too. The house was cute and had everything we needed
The property was clean and just a short walk to shopping and restaurants. All of the appliances are new but the renovation of the cottage took place a while ago and could probably use a refresh. We enjoyed our stay
Overall, this was an easy and nice trip for us. As some other reviews have stated, some elements of the cottage could use some updating (bathrooms in particular) but it really is a very nice cottage for the price we paid. And the location is amazing. Parking was a little tricky with our large SUV. Normal size cars shouldn’t have an issue.

Great time in Tampa
This cottage was perfectly located for activities we planned in downtown and the beaches. The memory foam beds were awesome! Very roomy and comfortable furnishings. It was walking distance to numerous coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping. I would definitely recommend this rental!
Great location and more than adequate for my stay. Was it the Ritz Carlton? No. But it was a great place for the money; clean and well laid out. If two people are looking for an affordable place to stay in South Tampa, I would highly recommend this place
We really enjoyed our five night stay at this property. The location was perfect for all of our activities, the property was very clean and communication with the host was good. A couple of minor issues were communicated to the host and resolved quickly. We would definitely stay at this property again.
While this cottage may not be flashy, it has everything necessary and is clean, comfortable, and the perfect location! Centrally located to everything, it was exactly what we needed while in town for my daughter’s graduation from UT.
The property is very intriguing. Unfortunately we did not get to stay in the cottage due to Hurricane Ian. I must say, however, that it was a pleasure to deal with the property manager. They answered questions promptly and always in a friendly manner.
Perhaps next year!
This property was clean and the beds were really comfortable. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood and safe neighborhood. The SOHO location made it great to walk to Bayshore Drive and Old Hyde Park. Parking is an issue however. We had to change venues last minute for hosting a small graduation party due to the fact that there is no parking, for multiple cars, in the alley that this property is located on. Otherwise, I'd recommend this property for a Tampa stay.
The location is perfect! Easy walking to Hyde Park Village shops and restaurants. Buddy Brew and Sorrento Sweets for morning coffee, followed by a stroll along Bayshore Blvd.
Caroline was a wonderful host. She answered all questions within minutes and was so helpful when we needed a later check-out. This was our second time and we'll definitely come back.
The location was nice and convenient near Bayshore and Hyde Park and SoHo. The apartment was clean and Carolyn left a sweet gift basket for our arrival. Check-in was easy. TV’s were all “Smart” TVs with lots of streaming options. Closet space is very generous. The alley access was not ideal as it had potholes, palm fronds and trash cans making the pathway difficult to maneuver but there is ample street parking in a well lit safe neighborhood. A starter set of amenities were provided but should your stay be a little longer, be prepared to provide your own coffee, hand soap and toilet paper as we were only left a 1-2 day supply.
If you are sensitive to light in the morning, the master bedroom “port” window had no shade (although private) and its bed, described as plush, is extremely firm. Also, plan your showers accordingly as the hot water lasts about one shower. All in all the cottage is very functional and the twin bed configuration worked well for our group.
Such a perfect location for Hyde Park area . House is basic but totally worked for our needs ! Host was exceptional and accommodating we will be back .
Such a perfect location! We walked to a couple of the restaurants nearby. The place was a little tricky to find at first but once we did, we had no further issues. Everything about the stay was wonderful.
We were on spring vacation and wanted to tour the Tampa campus and area one more time. We don't know the area that well, but did hear that the Hyde Park area is the best!
We arrived and did have a little trouble finding the house, but that was more out GPS issues. It is down an Alley like others have said and we had a Nissan Acadia and did have a little trouble parking it, but nothing that was a huge problem. I had emailed Carloyn and ton of questions and she was so helpful and quick to respond. It is definitely a perfect location but definitely in an alley, which we would have preferred on a main street, but that is stated in the description. We were hit with a thunderstorm, so the lights were flickering and she was quick to come and drop off candles and a flash light.
There was 5 of us. My daughter and her friend slept in the twin beds downstairs and my husband and other daughter slept upstairs. I slept on the couch as I had to wait up for the kids to come home, but not sure where we would have put the air mattress.
It was a lovely home, and they did a great job redoing it.
