Rachel the host was excellent who informed us about the local area and great walks along the canal. The apartment was excellent well situated and spotlessly clean. This property is highly recommended and would definitely stay again.

Lovely place to stay

Property was perfect for us. The access to the canal path meant we could take long or short walks whenever we chose. Nice places to visit nearby. Would certainly stay again.

Rachel was the perfect host. Before we went away Rachel gave us lots of information about places to visit and places to eat. The barn was lovely and clean and cosy with everything you need for a perfect stay. The location is in a lovely village with walks along the canal just a minute form the accommodation. There was a local Coop supermarket, a lovely bakers shop. I would highly recommend staying at this barn.

Place by the canals

We had a great stay very close to the canal lock. The one bedroom unit was very spacious and very clean with all the services you would require. The area is very quiet with some great walking trails and only short walk to the village . Would stay there again

A Wonderful stay !

Rachel’s barn is just as described, spotlessly clean, very welcoming and i had a very good nights sleep as the bed is so comfortable! Rachel is friendly and welcoming with very helpful communication. All round the perfect stay! I would definitely come back and stay again, thankyou!

In a word....ideal!

What a fantastic place to stay! Rachel could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The barn itself is in the ideal situation - on the edge of a great village with a shop, pharmacy and three(!) pubs, but with easy car access to the A38, not to mention local walks and the canal. The barn has everything you might want for a great stay, and I strongly recommend it.

Excellent holiday base

This property is a very comfortable base for exploring the delightful village of Alrewas, the peaceful canal towpath and attractions further afield. We would be very happy to stay there again.

Lovely barn in a great location

We were very impressed with the high standard of this barn. It had everything we needed, it was really clean and it was situated in a lovely location right by the canal. The owner Rachel was very attentive and made sure we were comfortable during our stay.
