The location is good, the apartment ok, though the entrance and stairway are very run-down. The apartment was not very clean, so we cleaned it ourselves (especially the bathroom and floors).The communication with the host did not work. I contacted him once prior to arrival and once during our stay. Both times it took several days and the intervention of the agency before there was a reaction.

Excellent Apartment

This is a beautiful apartment in a lively and historic old town. We especially liked the roof deck. It looked as nice as in the pictures. Comfy beds, everything worked. Good restaurants and shops nearby, especially up the road a bit for a view of the harbor. There are a LOT of stairs from the train station to the apartment door. I don't think it's possible for older folks or people with large bags to go on foot from the train station. Thanks for a great stay at a good value.

A great stay in Ventimiglia

The ground level entrance to the building is tired and the stairs might be an issue for some but the apartment is big, updated and contained everything we needed. The view from the upper deck is fantastic. Our host, Jane, was very responsive and gave us great tips on where to go and what to see. She even left us some snacks and drinks knowing that we would be arriving late in the evening. Thanks Jane!

The apartment is perfectly located in Ventimiglia old town, a short distance from bus stops and about a 20 minute walk from the train station. The stairs up to the apt in the 600 yr old building are challenging for anyone with limited mobility, but awesome balcony views make up for the climb. The unit itself was clean and comfortable but the common stairs and hallway leading to it were filthy - visible litter remained the whole 12 days we stayed. The unit contained everything we needed but could use some updating or sprucing up. We had an issue with hot water, which was tended to by the owner, but he was tardy in responding. Regardless, we would still recommend this property to someone looking to submerse themselves in small Italian village culture.

Fantastic apartment in beautiful old town

The check-in process was very smooth, all went according to plan and was very straightforward.Kitchen facilities were great, good range of cutlery and crockery (only thing missing for us was a colander!). Wi-Fi was constant and satisfactory throughout the apartment. Transport access - we did not use a car, so had no need for parking etc and cannot comment on this, but the apartment was only a short walk from the train station, and the lift from below the old town to the top was within a two minute walk from the apartment. It was really handy.We really enjoyed this holiday - great views from the apartment, enough space for us all to relax during the hottest parts of the day. All the furniture was comfortable, including the beds. There was a more than adequate utility area which was really a bonus, we used it constantly. It was great to have a good washing machine. The host had provided a welcoming bottle of wine, which was a lovely touch. There was a good kettle, and a good coffee machine, with some coffee pods provided. The apartment was clean throughout, and was easy to maintain. All refuse bags were clearly labelled, so recycling was easy. The general location was really great, and as it was extremely hot when we were there, the air-conditioning was amazing. It worked constantly, and was very quiet, and effective. Lovely views from the balcony areas over the medieval street and cathedral piazza below. Recommend highly and would definitely stay here again.

Mitten in der Altstadt, man bekommt das italienische Leben mit und fühlt sich Teil davon. Die Wohnung ist hell und modern eingerichtet. Durch die zwei Etagen hat man viel Platz. Die Terrasse ist klein aber fein und mit wunderschöner Aussicht. Die Eigentümer sind sehr hilfsbereit. Man muss sich bewusst sein, dass man zur Wohnung nur über ein dunkles Treppenhaus mit vielen alten Stufen kommt.

Die Wohnung ist wirklich mit allem ausgestattet. In jedem Zimmer ist eine Klimaanlage, was im August wirklich super angenehm war. Die Wohnung bietet viel Platz und ist sauber.Die Treppen zur Wohnung sind recht steil und man hört die umliegenden Bars/Restaurants deutlich (abends/nachts).Geschäfte für den täglichen Bedarf befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Wohnung ist schön in der Altstadt gelegen.Einen Parkplatz zu finden, war oft problematisch - wie auch Halten/Parken für das Ein- und Ausladen bei der An- und Abreise.Kontakt mit der Vermieterin war super - viele gute Informationen erhielten wir schon vor der Anreise.Die Aussicht von der Dachterrasse ist wirklich sehr schön, so wie auch der Blick von den Balkonen auf die kleine Straße.

Excellent séjour!

L'appartement est très spacieux, confortable, très propre. Idéal pour les regroupements familiaux. Situé dans le quartier historique de Vintimille, près de la cathédrale, cet appartement invite à flâner dans les ruelles, occasion de découvrir des lieux encore authentiques, d'échanger avec les passants, commerçants, toute une petite communauté paisible et chaleureuse. La bella Italia

Wenn Sie einen ruhigen Urlaub in einer schönen und sauberen Wohnung mit allen Annehmlichkeiten wünschen, sind Sie hier genau richtig! Die Altstadt von Ventimiglia ist das wahre Italien! Nicht touristisch, sondern Italien pur. Kleine Geschäfte und enge Gassen kombiniert mit dem italienischen Lebensstil. Von der Altstadt aus geht es allerdings nur bergab zum schönen Strand. Aber ein moderner Aufzug am Ende der Straße bringt Sie im Handumdrehen dorthin. Die Strandbar und der Privatstrand sind super und vermitteln ein echtes Urlaubsgefühl. Man möchte diesen Ort überhaupt nicht mehr verlassen. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war gut. Bemerkungen wurden geklärt, sehr angenehmer Kontakt. Vielen Dank für das Verständnis!

Super Apartment

Es war alles wie wir es erwartet haben. Die Wohnung ist klasse und die Dachterrasse ist top. Während der ganzen Zeit so gut wie keine Touris getroffen. 😉😁 Der Strand ist zu Fuß und mit dem Fahrstuhl bequem zu erreichen. In der Straße gibt es eine schöne Eisdiele mit leckerem Eis. Kleiner „Tante Emma Laden“ ist auch in der Straße. Im Viertel kann man gut essen gehen. Von Ventimiglia aus kann man tolle und interessante Ausflüge unternehmen.

Nous avons beaucoup aimé l’appartement et l’emplacement dans Vintimille. L’annonce n’était pas du tout menteuse. Pour les prochains locataires, assurez-vous de prévoir les activités à faire autour car nous avons eu un peu de mal à trouver.

Hübsche Wohnung mit herrlichem Blick

Wir verbrachten eine Woche in der schönen Wohung in Ventimiglia Alta. Sie liegt inmitten der typisch italienischen Altstadt von Ventimiglia, mit Blick auf den Kirchturm und das Meer. An der Wohung selbst, die für italienische Verhältnisse modern und schön eingerichtet ist, habe ich nichts zu beanstanden. Lediglich das Treppenhaus war gewöhnungsbedürftig (viele ;) ausgetretene und unterschiedlich hohe Treppenstufen). Für gehbehinderte oder sehr unsportliche Menschen eignet sich die Wohnung daher nicht. Wir haben die Lage sehr genossen und fast alles zu Fuß erledigt. Um zum Strand unterhalb der Wohnung zu gelangen, gibt es eine Treppe, die nicht auf den ersten Blick als öffentliche Treppe zu erkennen ist. Man erreicht sie, indem man durch das Stadttor Richtung Hafen geht, von dort aus links die Straße bis zur "Hauptstraße" hinterunter geht und überquert. Zwischen zwei gepflegten Anwesen geht es dann ca. 140 Treppenstufen, entlang an wunderschön blühenden Bougainvilleen, runter zum Kiesstrand. Die familienbetriebene Strandbar, die am nächsten zum Hafen und ganz in der Nähe der Treppe liegt, fanden wir super und vor allem sehr gemütlich! Der Kontakt zur freundlichen Eigentümerin gestaltete sich sehr unkompliziert. Angenehm war auch, dass wir drei Schlüssel zur Wohnung bekamen. Ich würde gerne wieder dort Urlaub machen ;)

Top Urlaub trotz Corona war alles sehr sauber und auch die Umgebung sehr schön.

Es war alles sehr schön die Stadt und der Strand ist sehr nah zu Fuß . Die Wohnung war 5 Sterne sehr sauber auch Küche alle Utensilien sind vorhanden. Tolle Möbel tolle Wohnung die Terrasse zum sitzen und den Sonnenuntergang anschauen sehr schön . Hat uns sehr gefallen. Die Eisdiele am Strand ist köstlich 😋.

Wunderbare Lage in der Altstadt von Ventimigglia. Herzlicher und unkomplizierter Empfang. Waren zu früh dran, konnten aber bereits die Koffer in der wohnung abstellen. Der Kühlschrank war mit frischer Milch und Saft bestückt, sowie Kaffe für die Nespressomaschine. So konnte man gleich wunderbar ankommen. Parken ist in der Regel eine enge und abenteuerliche Angelegenheit. Hat aber immer gut geklappt. In näherer Umgebung ist alles Notwendige vorhanden, kleiner Supermarkt, Bäcker mit frischen semmeln, Bars, Restaurants mit hervorragendem Essen... Das Altstadtbild wirkt noch recht ursprünglich und nicht so touristisch überladen. Neil, unser Vermieter war stets hilfsbereit, unkompliziert und sehr freundlich. Können wir wärmstens weiter empfehlen. Lina

Tolle Ferienwohnung mit vielen Features

Wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen, man hat die Möglichkeit, den italienischen Alltag direkt vom Balkon aus mitzuerleben: Das Flair der sauberen Altstadt beginnt vor der Tür. Man kann auch den Weg zur Strandpromenade mit Riesenrad, Geschäften und Clubs gut zu Fuß bewältigen. Die Wohnung ist bis auf einen Schlafraum voll klimatisiert und man hat verschiedene kleinere Balkone und eine kleine Dachterasse zum Frühstücken oder Chillen. Wir waren mit Familie und Hund eine Woche lang da.
