Calm nordic inspired interior, recently updated kitchen with new butcher block countertops and new frameless glass shower doors in two of the bathrooms. Two en-suite master bedrooms make this home ideal for 2 families or grandparent vacation shares.
POOL safety features - alarms on all sliders out to the deck, new removable child safety fence preventing access from the house to pool area without an adult, new in pool alarm - that rings in the house if the water is disturbed. Park-like setting, private forest in front and back. New sinks & vanities, new floors in bedrooms and new ceiling fans throughout with central AC.

Located between Southampton, Bridgehampton, Water Mill & Sag Harbor you have the convenience of being close to all four. Peaceful and Relaxing!

All good words for this lovely home. We just returned from an extended August stay and our family of four couldn't have felt more comfortable or at home. Ellen's lovely house is situated in a quiet but friendly neighborhood, nestled in the trees...although it's conveniently located 15 min away from both sag harbor and southampton and all they have to offer. The house itself is beautifully and simply decorated with cheerful artwork, an abundance of reading material (if you're a chef you'll find endless inspiration) and a great tv/sound system for listening to music outside. At night there is nothing to hear except the crickets chirping -- which provided the most relaxing back drop to our lounging on the deck. The pool is sparkling and refreshing and truth be told we spent most of our time either in it or lounging by it. Ellen was responsive to every question which were very few and truth be told it's a very easy house to slip into vacation mode in! We can't wait to return!

Lovely place to relax

We really wanted to get out of the city this summer and spent a relaxing 2 weeks at this lovely home. The house is bright and has a laid back vibe. The pool was great, with a beautiful garden alongside it. The owner was very responsive.

The Perfect Getaway!!!

I cannot say enough about this house, or the owner! We had the best family vacation we have ever had, and that is in great part to the efforts of the owner. It is exactly as advertised - though I think the pictures do not do it proper justice - it is so much better in person! The location is incredible, and there is ABSOLUTELY everything you could possibly need for your holiday at this beautiful house! The house is huge, elegant, but casual at the same time. Each room is beautifully appointed with little touches that gave it a warm feel like a home - not an impersonal rental property. Outside the patio is spacious with lots of seating and even features an herb garden, of which we very much availed ourselves at the owner's invitation - the herbs were the perfect addition to our grilling! The pool is huge and the heated option was an incredible plus. We spent many hours swimming both day and evening! :D The owner is also an incredibly responsive person. She answers quickly with all the information you could need, and is very kind and gracious. Truly it is a perfect place to get away and we definitely will go back when we can! I would recommend it in a heartbeat to anyone who wants a quiet getaway.

Octoberfest

This was our second stay in Ellens cozy and well equipped home. Our fall activities included lighting fires every night, baking (including apples we picked) and enjoying the country foliage we dont get in the city. "Time of our lives"

Whether to give top billing to the home or the host, Ellen is my biggest dilemma. Aside from the stunning property, this house is truly a "home". We were able to host our entire family including kids, friends and an 8 month old baby yet we all had ample privacy and quiet. Ellens home is beyond equipped with everything from a beach day, a pool day, a rain day to a day of trying new recipes in her extensive cooking and baking utensils. Ellen is beyond kind, appreciative and sincere. Needless to say we look forward to many more amazing times at this HOME that we all loved so much it's been hard to return to NYC life. Perfect Getaway

My husband and I stayed in this amazing house for a week and we enjoyed every minute of it! First of all Ellen the owner was a delight to deal with. She was very responsive and was always available for anything we needed. She really cared about us enjoying our stay which really meant a lot to us. The house itself is beautiful, spacious and very well maintained. It makes you feel at home as soon as you walk in. Our favorite part of the house is the large heated pool which you have access to from pretty much anywhere in the house. We also loved the fact how private the backyard is. This house is perfect for a romantic couple’s getaway, family time or just friends looking to relax and have fun, either way you won't be disappointed. We are looking forward to coming back!

Great month in the Hamptons

Our family enjoyed a great month in the Hamptons at this house. The owners made sure we had everything we needed - and more - we didn't have to bring anything with us - it was fabulous. The back of the house is dreamy - great pool, great vegetable garden, beautiful flowers, great bbq. The house is light and airy and all the beds were super comfy. The drawbacks are few: 1 TV, minor things need updating. Our family would absolutely rent again. The owner was available and responsive to any questions we had during our stay and was extremely accommodating. The location cannot be beat - 15 minutes to everywhere you want to go - Sag Harbor, Bridgehampton, Southampton, East.

Wonderful

We totally enjoyed the house. It was beautifully maintained and spacious and has a wonderful Hamptons vacation feel! The Host had everything we could have needed from beach towels to bandaids !! We will be Looking forward to staying there next year !!

A Wonderful Stay in a Lovely Home.

We stayed at this lovely home before the recent renovation - it is such a calm, relaxing property, the pool is wonderful and the house is perfectly laid out for 2 families. The location is great, too, private but very close to the Bay beach. We can't wait to come back this summer and enjoy the upgrade!

The house is expansive yet cozy. Secluded but super convenient. I have fallen in love with this house, slowly renovated over the past years and while I wish I did not have to rent it I'm thrilled to share it.

What makes this property unique

Extremely convenient to every town on the south fork and because of it's location most areas can be easily reached while avoiding the dreaded Montauk Hwy.
