Waterfront cabin on the Pend Oreille river. Great for summer fun skiing, tubing, and fishing. The three bedrooms, loft and living room hide a bed sleep 12. A beautiful 9 hole golf course is 8 miles away. Miles of logging roads for hiking, biking, quads and motorcycles. Part of the Selkirk mountain range. Outdoor deck and dock are great hangout spots. This is a great family vacation spot with all the comforts of home. Kayaks provided for your enjoyment (swimming and kayaking at your own risk). Guests agree to hold harmless Guy and Brigitte Libby and their heirs and Libby Investment Property LLC from any occurrence from the use of the dock, kayaks, ladder to the loft, and the ladder to the bunk bed.

So relaxing

This was our second time staying at the cabin, we love it so much! We enjoyed the sunny dock and the fire pit the most as well as barbecuing and eating on the outdoor deck. This place is wonderful, we would be hard pressed to find anywhere as perfect as Guy and Brigette’s cabin! We will be back!

Beautiful Home! Fantastic vacation!

We LOVED staying at this beautiful cabin on the river, our family of 12 was very comfortable here. The place was well stocked, we didn’t need to bring half the stuff we brought because everything was provided for us even s’mores stuff and coffee!! Guy was very quick to return my texts when we had a question, and he was very friendly. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking to get away and unplug for a few days! I didn’t want to leave!

Perfect River Getaway

Beautiful home in a nice private setting with plenty of room for friends or family. Home was clean and owners left a cute little note and treats for us. We enjoyed the deck, River View by the fire pit area and lots of hours on the dock. Plenty of amenities for an easy stay, lots of chairs, cooking untensils and space. Only downside was millfoil in the river but you can’t really help that, we just dove off the end and swam out a bit. We will probably do another stay here in the coming years. Thanks Libby’s!

Delightful!

This was our second visit to Pend Oreille River and our first to the Libby's home. The property surpassed our expectations! The view and location are incredible. The house itself was immaculate, well appointed and comfortable. We loved the lawn games. We had a boat and the dock worked out great; the launch was only a block away. My favorite spot was with a book on the chaise lounge on the dock. We are foodies and did all of our own cooking. The kitchen is well stocked, and includes things like spices and condiments. (You may wish to bring a large skillet or griddle if you're coming with a group.) The outdoor furniture is comfortable and new; there's a great hammock. Guy was super responsive. We highly, highly recommend this home and hope to be back next summer!!!

Family reunion

A great time was had by all! Everyone was comfortable, great selection of movies and yard games, nicely stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Just would suggest larger bbq, and large umbrella/shade down by dock to get out of sun. Thank for letting us stay at your cabin!

A perfect family getaway!

Our family stayed at this riverfront home over Labor Day weekend and loved our time there. The home was tastefully decorated, clean and inviting, and the scenery was incredible. We kayaked and fished every day, enjoyed the wildlife in the area, and bbq’d on the deck. Mornings were especially beautiful with the mist coming off the river. Everything was as advertised, and I do not hesitate to heartily recommend Guy’s vacation rental. Our group is already talking about going back next year!

Beautiful cabin on the river!

This cozy cabin was the perfect place for a summer getaway. The views were spectacular. We had fun boating, fishing, and eating dinner outside on the patio. When the smoke became too much from all of the wildfires we spent the day inside playing games and watching old movies. We loved our time at this cabin and highly recommend it.

Three of our employees were working in the area and stayed in Guy's cabin; they absolutely loved it! The cabin was comfortable and clean, Guy was quickly responsive to any needs they had, and we can honestly say that when our employees are working in the area again we will be booking Guy's cabin.

Beautiful cabin very comfortable!

This place is very beautiful, warm and comforting. We stayed here while we hunted and it is in a great location for that. I would love to stay when it is sunny and warm also.

Paradise on the River

I recently stayed at the River Cabin. It was a fantastic and relaxing stay. The pictures do not do it justice! The cabin was extremely clean, even the fridge. The outside patio was perfect for dinners and enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning. The grill was huge! The outdoor propane heater was great at night. We had a fire at night and made s'mores. Sat on the dock all day and read a book, great bass fishing as well! Kayaks were provided which made the early morning and evening great paddle times. We also used the River House as a base camp to explore Boundary Dam (Pee Wee Falls) up by the Canada Border, and do some great hiking at Hall Mountain by Sullivan lake. The River House is going a short drive to Sullivan and Metaline Falls. Overall one of the best properties I have stayed. I highly recommend it, and cannot wait to come back and bring my friends. Thank you to the Libby's for opening up their piece of paradise.

Perfect Vacation

We had the perfect vacation at this warm inviting home away from home. Modern conveniences with warm cabin charm and decor. The view of the river is breathtaking. We brought a boat and enjoyed surfing and tubing on the river. Soaked up the all day sun on the dock. Enjoyed meals on the party-lite lit deck overlooking the river. We golfed on an immaculate golf course about 4 miles down the road. I would highly recommend this vacation home for adults, families and even business retreats. We heard about this vacation home from a friend that is a hunter and rented in the fall. He said the colors are beautiful in the fall and there are atv trails in abundance! Even our teenagers said it was one of their favorite vacations! Highly Recommend! We will be back soon!

Best vacation stay

Terrific place for our summer vacation. Peaceful and quiet best describe your place. Kids loved the swimming, fishing and boating. I enjoyed the afternoons in the hammock overlooking the water. Sat out on the deck each evening and watched the sun set. Loved your place. Thank you.

Guy was born and raised in the Spokane Area. He and his wife Brigitte purchased the property in 1995 and Guy built a home and garage in 1997. They have four children and two grandchildren who have grown up "on the river". It's been the source of many holidays and vacations with family and friends. We hope our guests will enjoy it as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

This area is still fairly remote and so provides a quiet getaway without a lot of traffic; especially boat traffic. Great logging roads nearby for motorcycles and ATV's. We have a nice 9 hole golf course just 8 miles north. Plenty to do for everyone. Great hunting area in the fall. Deer, elk, moose, bear and turkeys.

What makes this property unique

The views of the river from our cabin are awesome. We have a deck off the dining area that is great to just kick back on those long summer evenings. The dock provides for great swimming and a place to tie up the boat when you're not out skiing, surfing or tubing.
