Revelation Valley Carriage House near Jasper National Park

The Carriage House is the newest addition to our existing Vacation Homes on our private property in Mt. Robson Park. As the name implies, the Carriage House's main living arrangement is on the top floor with a full 'state of the art kitchen', four piece bath, living and dining areas, a bedroom and a massive wood burning fireplace. The ground level houses another bedroom and ensuite bathroom, a mudroom and, a laundry. The property is located in Mt. Robson Park, adjacent to Jasper National Park---both world heritage sites---and 85 km west of the Town of Jasper just off the Yellowhead Highway. The Carriage House is located on twelve private acres in a mixed forest with a clear view of M. Robson and Swift Current Creek.

About the host
Hosted by Carmen Ottaway
Carmen and Glen have owned property in Mt. Robson Park since 1978. In 2000, they built their first home, soon to be their first Vacation Home--- the Goat's Head Gatehouse and began renting out the Gatehouse in 2012 (listing # 413396). They subsequently built their existing home, a log structure (Resplendent Lodge) on the far end of the property where they currently reside. The home was briefly rented out as a Vacation Home in 2014. In 2012, they purchased the adjoining property---now comprising 12 acres---and built the Carriage House (Revelation Valley Carriage House) with the same attention to detail as the other homes. Glen and Carmen both have graduate degrees in Environmental Science---Glen is also a Structural Engineer and continues to work in that field leaving Carmen to operate the Vacation Homes. Both are wilderness and wildlife enthusiasts who like to share their spectacular piece of paradise with members of the public. They have recently purchased another adjoining property to be developed and are now renting out all three vacation homes including, Resplendent Lodge.
