Wonderful location and property

We used this property as a central point for touring Bruges and Ypres. Property was perfect for 4 adults. We really enjoyed our time here.

The property was as advertised. It was spacious, very clean and well stocked. It has everything you need. There was a grocery store nearby which was great.Dirk was quick to respond to any messages we sent. He came over twice to ensure that everything was fine and that we had what we needed. This was much appreciated. If we are ever in Brugge again, we would definitely stay at this property.

Great place to book if you want to visit Bruges

Very nice house close to the downtown (10 minutes by car). Indications let in the ‘visitors manual’ have been really useful. We strongly recommend this place

This was a great visit. Dirck's home is in a quiet and safe neighborhood out of the heart of the city but a quick jaunt into the touristic sights and attractions. Easy access to grocery store and amenities in the neighborhood. A great location to explore the area!

Remodeled comfort close to Brugge

We had a wonderful time here. Excellent amenities, immaculately clean, and wonderful hosts. Although we had no issues, mobility-impaired visitors should note that the stairs are quite steep.

Fabulous home

Gorgeous house over 3 floors, beautifully decorated and kitchen with everything required. Hosts were very helpful and we followed their recommendation for a local tapas bar for our first night - food was incredible! Would thoroughly recommend this house as a base for your visit to Bruges.

Beautiful home, lovely location

We just stayed at the Barlandus House, and can't rate it more highly. It was an absolute gem in terms of its comfort, design, layout, and amenities. And the location was perfect and so quiet. The host was friendly and very welcoming. If you're looking for a respite away after sightseeing during the day, look no further. This is the place!!

A large, very clean house in a quiet street. Plenty of space for a family of 5. The bus to the centre of Bruges was a few minutes walk. Everything you need (perhaps apart from a washing machine). Recommended.

Great Stay

Excellent property. Very clean well kept/maintained. Welcomed by Dirk on arrival, he was friendly, helpful and welcoming. The house is located within a short distance of the centre of Brugge. Food shopping is very easy with 2 supermarkets within easy reach. We highly recommend this property if you want to visit the area

This was a beautiful home in a great neighborhood. It was comfortable, well-appointed, and exceptionally clean. Dirk was an outstanding host—very responsive and attentive. He went above and beyond to provide us with excellent recommendations. The location was also very convenient, with easy access to transportation that takes you to the city center and beyond. Amazing house

The house was exceptionally well maintained throughout, beautifully decorated, modern spacious and spotlessly clean. Dirk was on hand, but unobtrusive and helpfully phoned a taxi for us one evening. We had a wonderful stay and wouldnt hesitate to return.The house is a short walk to a bus stop, where you can easily get into Bruges central.

Everything is high quality

In a residential area near a bus stop and some stores and restaurants. The house is beautiful with a lovely view of the garden from the kitchen. Well stocked, including some local beer, various coffees. Owner very helpful. Highly recommend.

Perfect for a visit to Bruges

Family of 5 spent a long weekend in December visiting the Christmas markets in Bruges. This house was just perfect for our visit. It is beautifully decorated, functional and spacious. As advertised, it is very easy getting into Bruges on the bus. The hosts are very responsive to communications and we received a very friendly welcome from Dirk (including a useful guide). We would definitely stay here again if we return to Bruges.

Tranquil Oasis!

We were visiting Bruges for three nights and decided to try a house outside of the city instead of a hotel within Bruges. It was a good decision. The house was immaculate, beautifully furnished & a block from the bus that dropped us in the center of town. After a day of bustling Bruges it was quiet that we needed!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Barlandus House! House was spotlessly clean, with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. House was completely updated and very comfortable. Exactly as shown in pictures. Beautiful artwork on every wall. Host Dirk was attentive and friendly. Lovely back yard. Very quiet neighborhood, but walkable to city core (a pleasant 30 minute walk). Very short walk for groceries, and other shopping (e.g., Leonidas chocolate store, laundromat) very close by. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful property

Dirk was a great host. He communicated with me ahead of check in to ensure that he would be at the home to greet us. He also came to see us off when we checked out. He sat down with us to review the map of Brugge to help us get around and offer some points of interest. The property was designed with a great deal of attention to detail. The host thought of everything that we could possibly need during our stay. The entire home was very clean, modern and spacious. The bathrooms were very well appointed with bath towels and soap etc. The kitchen had everything we needed should we have decided to make our own meals. We could have easily taken a bus to get around but we chose to use the taxi service which was very affordable. The backyard was such a welcoming place to end our days. The four people in our travel party would highly recommend this rental property for your visit in Brugge. Thank you Dirk!

Sehr empfehlenswert!Die Unterkunft und die Ausstattung sind in einem topp Zustand. Wir haben alles vorgefunden, was wir brauchten. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich. Die Lage ist ruhig, mit einer guten Bus-Anbindung zum Zentrum, das auch zu Fuß erreicht werden kann. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind fußläufig erreichbar.
