Its narrow winding streets, stony houses, many staircases and the remains of the city walls give Šibenik that romantic Mediterranean atmosphere.
Enjoy your stay in an old stone house directly on the waterfront in the center of historical old-town Sibenik. Casa Marina boasts 2 brand new one-bedroom apartments that both have fabulous views of the crystal clear Adriatic Sea as well as a studio apartment and another one bedroom apartment that share the ground floor.
If you book this apartment you will be staying in apartment #2 on the 2nd floor.
The apartment has a 70 m2 of warm and comfortable interior that satisfy all your expectations. Bedroom which includes an en-suite, provides perfect comfort for 2 adults. Fully equipped kitchen, dining room and designer decorated living room share 42 m2 of the apartment giving you a perfect place to dine and enjoy glass of wine with the beautiful view of sunset.

AWESOME WATERFRONT APARTMENT

We loved the combination of the old and new in this spacious one-bedroom apartment. The living room windows open right up to the waterfront so you hear the sea lapping continuously. The sunsets and sunrises are beautiful too! The apartment is so close to all the restaurants, shops and historic sights you can walk to it within minutes. There is a small grocery store a few minutes away from the apartment which is really convenient. And there is no shortage of great restaurants. Staying in Sibenik provides easy access to Krka National Park and some of the other places to visit in the area. The apartment itself is really clean and spacious. The hosts are very helpful and accommodating. Sibenik was by far one of our favorite places on our trip down the coast of Croatia! This apartment was the icing on the cake.

Okay, but not luxury.

I Have very mixed feelings about this accommodation. It looked very beautiful in the photos and they did represent the space well. However, there were a few flaws and did not quite live up to the description. The pros were the view and the nearby restaurants. The cons, unfortunately, outweighed the pros. The first thing that turned me off was the parking. The description stated “designated street parking included in the price – 5 minute walk”. Once we dropped our bags off, we had to follow the caretakers in our car for appx. 10 minutes all the way around the city to a public parking lot. It was not designated for the apartment in any way. It was PUBLIC parking, and it was free to anyone, so how can it be included in the price? Then the walk back to the apartment was 10 to 15 minutes. Not something you want to do when you have a car, especially in the rain. Next con was that the kitchen did not have pantry items, as stated, with the exception of salt and a small bit of oil(?) someone had left in a used Coke bottle. So if you actually want to cook something from scratch you need to supply absolutely everything you need to cook with. To me that is not a “fully equipped kitchen”. The lighting in the bathrooms could be brightened up a bit, too. We contacted the host after 2 days to express our concerns and she admitted she had never even been in the apartment. If you want to use the word luxury in your description, you are setting your standards very high. A Mr.Coffee (without coffee provided) and only basic soap in the bathroom is not luxury. We left a day early and moved to our next destination since this did not live up to it’s billing in many ways. So bottom line…if you aren’t driving or cooking and love IKEA, you should be satisfied here. If not look elsewhere.

Brillliant location and setting in a wonderful City with a beach, clean warm water for swimming in September/early October Sibenik has a fascinating history and beautiful medieval architecture. Wine farms, unbelievably beautiful waterfalls and islands all within easy reach.

Super schicke, schön gelegene Wohnung

Die Wohnung war super schick. Einfach toll gelegen. Ein wundervoller Ausblick, direkt aus dem Fenster in die Bucht von Sibenik. Es war alles vorhanden. Vom Mixer, Kaffeemaschine, Toaster über Auflaufform. Einfach top. Ein paar mehr Kleiderbügel wären schön gewesen und die ein oder andere Standleuchte. Man muss diesen Ort eigentlich nicht verlassen. Einfach super schön, schnuckelige Stadt, schöner Strand und Hafenpromenade. Wir werden wieder kommen!
