This 3rd floor condo gorgeous views of the gulf. It is a 1 bedroom plus bunks with 1 bath. Perfect for a family! You can enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine on the balcony overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The location is fabulous with all the shops and restaurants within walking distance. Beach access is across the street and you can enjoy any of the 3 pools and hot tub that are available within Gulf Place. Access to the white sand beaches and emerald gulf waters with Gulf Place Private beach access directly across the street or enjoy Cabanas community pool , perfect for a quick dip.

Gulf Place Cabanas are just steps away from a variety of restaurants, boutique shopping, and the Artists colony to browse for that unique keepsake. The 'Lawn' offers live music concerts in the season, right at your back door. Live music can also be enjoyed at the corner restaurants! No need for a car during your vacation! Hwy 30A offers a scenic path covering it's 18.5 miles for walks, jogging, or biking. Absolutely perfect!

Gulf Place was an absolutely amazing property! The condo is a great size and the location is unbeatable. The views from the balcony are amazing, you can see and hear the ocean! It is right across from the beach so you don't have to walk very far at all to get there. Restaurants around the condo are also wonderful. Can't recommend Gulf Place enough!!

Memorial Day Quarantine Escape

We stayed for the Memorial Day holiday after the coronavirus quarantine was lifted. It was just what we needed! The place is close to tons of restaurants and shops and directly across from the beach! My family thoroughly enjoyed it and the condo had everything we needed and was perfect for us. We hope to be back soon!!!!!

Perfect stay!

This was one of my favorite beach stays of all time! The location is PERFECT! Lots of great local options within walking distance--we walked to dinner every night and it was a mile or less. Lots of cute little stores/food places nearby. What I loved most though is that the area did not feel touristy at all. It was a calm, family environment and I felt safe and enjoyed the friendliness of everyone we came across. A great place to stay for a couple's getaway or for the family. The room itself was also impressive as the amenities were more than we could have asked for! It was so nice to spend our evenings in because of how cozy and homey it felt. Staff was helpful and supportive around the clock when needed. Highly recommend, I'll definitely be back!

Destination wedding vacation

The condo was in a wonderful location. Right in the heart of everything we needed or wanted to see and do. It was all very relaxing there. We did notice that there wasn't an amenities card anywhere in the unit. Four of the vertical blinds to the balcony were missing and one of the pulls on the bedroom's ceiling fan were missing. Minor problems. We do look forward to going back again soon.

30 A fall break

This property is not accurately listed. The primary bed is NOT a king. At most it’s a full size bed. Maintenance came several times during our stay to fix a non existent water leak. Door quit locking and had to call property management company. The pool is great but you get constant whiffs of sewer coming off the pond.

Thank you so much for your review. Our listing does clearly state that the bed in the master is a queen size. I apologize for the maintenance visit during your stay, but there was a leak into the unit below, and we have to address urgent maintenance issues right away. The door is equipped with a switch on the inside that when turned prevents it from automatically locking each time it's closed. This feature is particularly helpful when bringing in groceries or luggage, so you don't have to enter the code each time. This is always turned to automatically lock upon arrival but each guest has the option to turn it which is what happened in the middle of your stay. We appreciate your business and thank you for staying with us.

Gulf Place Cabanas

The overall condo was very nice. It contained all the essential kitchen items necessary for cooking. The large TV was very nice for viewing. My wife and I stayed long term for two months. The one drawback for us was the queen size bed since we are accustomed to a king size. However, for a short stay it would have been adequate but for a long term stay it was not. The couch in the living room was relatively new but being a pullout sleeper it was somewhat uncomfortable for sitting a long time. Again, for a short term stay it was adequate. The location is extremely convenient to shops and restaurants. Overall, I would recommend the condo.

RENTER BEWARE—PLACE NOT AS REPRESENTED

Got to room-the smell was intolerable, needs a deep cleaning, bed was rinky dink, toilets stopped up. PICTURES WERE VERY DECEPTIVE of the condition the layout and the view. Called the host contact, refused to give us any money back. He was rude and tried to justify—never once allowed me to fully disclose my concerns. Left the place and never stayed.

I normally don't respond to guests in the manner but I must make an exception. At some point you must stand up for yourself and your business. I inspected this unit an hour and a half before the guest arrived and it was perfect. The pictures are less than one year old and represent the exact way the condo looks. I had to give this guest a 1 star review as well because they called and treated our employees like garbage and hung up in our face. We also involved a VRBO support team member who sided with us. Please owners/property managers beware and do not rent to this guest.

Falsely advertised 2 bedroom with King

This condo was advertised as a 2 bedroom, when it was only a 1 bedroom. We are a family of 4 with two teens so needed/expected 2 bedrooms. It was also advertised as having a King mattress in the bedroom, and it was only a Full, which is much smaller than a King. As a result, my husband and I could not even sleep in the same bed on vacation. This made for an uncomfortable stay due to a smaller than expected bed and subsequent sleep arrangements. Great location within very short walking distance to a private beach we had access to, which we loved. We also enjoyed the balcony, and balcony view (can’t see the ocean due to trees and homes, but still a good view). We enjoyed the pond and pool view from the balcony. However, we did not get what we paid for with this unit due to the false advertisements.

Disappointing

The most frustrating part was the property management company. Their lack of communication and accountability was mind blowing. The ocean flag was red so we couldn’t swim so of course it’d be pool days…. Nope. Lake flooded over the pool and pool was closed the entire trip with no maintenance or communication. Mgmt company said it’d be taken care of the next day after my original email. That didn’t happen. We left an entire day early. No apology or reach out since letting them know we left. Condo had multiple things missing off the walls with a bunch of random leftover nails, peeling paint all over the bunk beds.. just overall outdated and old property. Elevator got stuck and that’s when we noticed the inspection expired in 2021… take your money elsewhere. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. Weather happens, but communicate with your paying guests..

I wish we could control the weather so all our guests could enjoy the beautiful beaches. We can only go by what the Condo association for the condo tells us about getting the pool back up due to an act of God. Again very sorry that you encountered rough weather but we were in constant communication with you during your stay. You also still had access to the 2 other pools within the Gulf Place community. We would love to have you back and exceed your expectations.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The pictures/description for this property are VERY misleading... There are no gorgeous views of the gulf. You can barely see a tiny bit of ocean through the trees and buildings. Blanket in closet was dirty, icemaker didn't work, hot tub by pool didn't work, pond outside of balcony smelled like rotten eggs. There was no deadbolt on the door and keypad lock was screwed into some particle board inside the door, not secure at all. Had to call property manager to find out how to lock the door and to have maintenance add a door chain lock on the inside of the door for a little extra security. There is not a comfortable seat in the house. There were 2 small chairs, one with a broken arm rest and the other with no arm rests. The sofa was hard as a rock with boards under the cushions and no mattress. Also, the description makes it sound like there are so many fabulous shops within walking distance. However, there were only a couple of stores in Gulf Place that were open (Alvin's Island and one other little boutique store). One big store was unpacking boxes and not open yet. Aside from all the above, there was lots of construction going on right outside on 30A as well as someone in the condo above us stomping around on the floor very early in the morning. Needless to say, we had a hard time getting any sleep.

We are sorry that you were disapppointed with your stay. The pictures of the unit were all taken within the last year and represent the condo accurately. The bathrooms and kitchen were renovated 14 months ago. The lock on the door is a keyless entry keypad which the majority of condos in our area use. We sent maintence immediately to add a chain on the door so you woul feel comfortable. Unfortunately, we can't control which stores are open in the surrounding area. We will check on the ice maker and make sure it's working and will always send out maintence to fix anything the same day or following day it is reported. We catered to everything you asked during you stay within hours but it still wasn't enough and I'm sorry you didn't have a great time in our area.

Great location, disappointing property

The positives were this property was in the perfect location and had a great private beach access for guests but from the moment we walked into the condo it was very underwhelming and disappointing for the price we paid for this family vacation. The entertainment center had an inch of dust on it, the glass sliding door was covered in finger prints and the area rug was dirty and was so aged it was a tripping hazard for our children the entire week. The outside balcony was not only weathered but not clean whatsoever. In fact, we did not spend even a minute on the balcony our entire trip. I reached out to the management company to also let them know that multiple slats from the vertical blinds in the family room were missing and broken, as well as the closet door in the master bedroom would not open or close properly. The response was “sorry about that” - more than anything, I wanted them to know my family was not responsible for these issues. Additionally, the plumbing in this building was so bad we had to use public restrooms often as the toilet would clog with every use. So irritating! My advice would be for the owners to visit their property and really assess the company they are using it to manage it - this property has so much potential but it is obvious it is not being cared for like it should be. We will return to 30A in the very near future but will not be returning to this condo. For the cost, there are many other options that I’m certain would be a better experience than what we had.

We are very sorry that you did not enjoy your experience. When you reported the issues here, we asked if you wanted maintenance out and we had someone out to repair the closet door and look at the toilet. As a whole, the plumbing in the building is older. The handle has to be held down all the way to flush properly. We are sorry we could not find a repair man to replace the living room blinds during your stay. This is a multi-step job which includes measurements, ordering the proper size, and several trips back and forth which would have interrupted your stay. We do understand and apologize for the two slats that were down. We also offered to have the cleanliness items addressed but you declined. Since your stay, the remaining items have been taken care of.

Family vacation

Property was exactly as described on the website. Maybe even roomier than i expected. The ac went out on our 1st day there and it took a full day for us to get it repaired. We were promised from the landlord he was going to do something to make it right but never heard anything back, but otherwise it was a great stay and couldn't really complain.
