Overall beautiful surroundings our lodge was perfect, only thing not much around unless driving, tv never worked for more than 5mins at a time. Nowhere really opens on Tuesdays so very limited.
Absolutely amazing private place to stay with beautiful surroundings. Lodge had everything in you could ask for. we were greeted with a lovely bottle of prosecco in the fridge. Will definitely be back
If you want nothing but relaxation then this is the place for you.
No TV just a small radio, beautiful scenery and the hot tub!
No Wi-Fi as stated but did t stop us having a relaxing time.
A fantastic place to stay, I traveled solo all thru Scotland for a few days prior and the hottub was a great way to unwind after driving. Close to Dunbar itself, a very nice and quiet town with a relaxing atmosphere. I would suggest arrival before dark but the property manager was very accurate with direction and even in the pitch black, it was navigable. Its beyond the event center past the parking lot for employees down its own trail, very removed from society or the wedding party if you are on a honeymoon. The stars are so beautiful with sights of the milkyway. I brought sunshine and cloudless nights tho, So I guess that isn't guaranteed. Would recommend for maybe up to 3 or 4 adults if the couch pulls out for as a bed, no wifi, but I don't think that was a bad thing unless you need to get work done, A small tree fort and boat are on the property, hard to see in the utter darkness, but the morning views were just as spectacular as the night.

I would highly recommend staying at this lovely lodge overlooking the lake. It had everything we needed, was clean and cosy. The hot tub was also lovely and really enjoyed seeing in the bells this year at this lodge.
I stayed here with my wife for my 10th wedding anniversary and it was perfect, peaceful, relaxing and quite with only animals as neighbours. Laying in the hot tub on the deck with a few beverages, watching the world go by was just what we needed. The large bed was super comfortable and the kitchen had all we needed to self cater. Also the no contact arrival was a great touch in the current climate.
Great lodge and really nice inside. Couldn’t get the back door open due to it being jammed so had to go round the side to get to the hot tub which was slightly annoying but overall had a great stay
This is the perfect little get away, beautiful interior very modern with a country. Place is spotless. Well equipped. Very secluded and peaceful. Hottub perfect way to relax looking out onto the lake which has swans, we also saw deer, sheep, horses and rabbits. If you are on the fence about booking this go ahead you will not regret.
Lodge was fantastic and so peaceful. Only issue we had was that we had not received any arrival information, therefore we had no code to gain access to the Key Safe and the front door and could not get in touch with anyone. After sometime we found that the Patio Doors were unlocked (not sure if this was intentional or not) and on looking through the Guest Information book found the key code. I would have expected this to have been sent to us prior to arrival.
Despite this we had the most fantastic time.
Excellent little lodge with noone else around, weather was cracking to which made the difference, no TV or WiFi but not needed if you have the proper Company, highly recommended
