On the 1st floor: 3 bedrooms including 2 doubles and 1 with 2 single beds, a bathroom with bathtub. Autonomous heating. Outside there is a large porch with fireplace for barbecues with friends, a swimming pool 6x15 mt and a storage facility / cellar with feezer. The villa is surrounded by about 5000 mt of olive grove park.

Tranquil & relaxing holiday

Francesca and Silvano were very warm and welcoming to their beautiful villa in tranquil surroundings. It immediately felt like a "home from home". The views were beautiful, the weather was hot, the pool was clean and well maintained. There are good supermarkets within a short drive and places to eat within walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing break. It was our first holiday to Italy but will definitely not be our last!

Very quiet, a very comfortable place. The pool and the airconditioning in the sleeping rooms were extremely welcome by temperatures above 30°C. When we were in the villa we could live outside all the time under the large porch.

We loved it! 😍

The house is very nice. The location is perfect to visit Venice, Padua, Verona, Lago di Garda and so on. The surrounding on the vineyard is very picturesque. The view from the pool is awesome. Our dogs enjoyed our stay. Just to mention: it's a semi-detached house. It wasn't a problem for us. Nevertheless it's very private and the neighbor is very kind. Francisca and Silvano are great hosts. Thank you for everything!

This place is amazing! The pictures in the add really dont justify the house and surroundings. Rooms are big and spacious, there are a wonderful balcony in one of the bedrooms. The pool feels like an Olympic pool very large we really enjoyed it a lot. The views are spectacular both in the day and evenings. We didn’t have loads of mosquitoes as we thought but in the day the cicadas was active.Communication was a bit hard because we don’t speak Italian but the owners was really nice and friendly and google helped a lot. We could definitely return to this place and recommend it to anyone seeking to get away from the tourist areas, we didn’t see a single foreign car in the area beside our own. Thank you Silvano and Francesca!

Wow, what can I say? I didn’t want to leave. What an absoloute hidden Gem. Upon arrival we were greeted by the lovely Francesca, her lovely husband and an adorable dog I really wanted to take home to England. Check in process was smooth, had to sign forms. Typical of the EU now. Accommodation clean and had everything we need (such as shower gel, hair dryer, coffee) beds were very comfy and so were the pillows. It is a very rustic authentic Italian villa (think Italian decor) lovely pool, two bathrooms (fyi the bath isn’t really a full size bath, it’s more half the size of a British one) great powerful shower. Plenty of storage space. So lovely admiring the amazing views. I didn’t want to leave!!! You do require a vehicle to get here, it’s about a 1 hour drive from Marco Polo. Roads weren’t crazy busy. Hiring a car is cheap. We will be back!!! Thanks Francesca and husband (and doggy!) xxxPs I should mention although Francesca and husband do not speak English this is no problem as Google translate is perfect!!!!

Comfort and charm in secluded paradise

The pictures of this property don't fully depict how beautiful and serene it is. We booked this villa based on location (close to Venice, Padua, etc.), but we loved it more than we ever expected thanks to the welcoming atmosphere and peaceful scenery of the Euganean Hills. Francesca and her family were warm and inviting when we met them, and they provided us with a wonderful place to stay for several days. We used the pool everyday; it is clean and well-maintained with an amazing view and a charming gazebo for lounging poolside. The patio offered an inviting space to drink coffee in the morning or wine in the evening while enjoying the well-tended garden and views of the countryside. Inside, the villa has plenty of room with three comfortable bedrooms and two fully equipped bathrooms. The master bedroom has a small balcony with an amazing view over vineyards and hills. We loved hearing the church bells every morning. The kitchen provided everything we needed to prepare food for ourselves, and Francesca personally showed us a local market for buying our supplies. Though there was a small language barrier (because we had not prepped ourselves by learning any Italian), Francesca was so patient and kind. She clearly wanted to make our stay pleasant in every way, and we can honestly say that we hated to leave this lovely place.

Fantastisk beliggenhed i fredelige omgivelser med en helt fantastisk udsigt. Udsigten alene er et besøg værd, og hvis man flytter et par stole ud fra overdækningen, kan man sidde og nyde den fuldt ud.Huset er velindrettet og funktionelt med et veludstyret køkken, hvor der er alt, hvad man har brug for. Selvom det kan virke lidt trangt på billederne indendørs, er der faktisk god plads. De mange ældre møbler og personlige ting fra værterne giver huset masser af charme og gør det ekstra hyggeligt.Stueetagen var dejlig kølig på de varme dage, og på 1. sal sørgede airconditionen for et behageligt indeklima.Selvom Francesca og Silvano ikke taler engelsk, var kommunikationen nem via Translate. De er et utroligt venligt, hjælpsomt og imødekommende værtspar, som får én til at føle sig meget velkommen.Vi har haft et fantastisk ophold og glæder os allerede til at komme tilbage .

Wir haben uns in dieser Ferienunterkunft ausgesprochen wohlgefühlt. Die Aussicht ist wunderschön, der Garten liebevoll gestaltet, der Pool riesig, es gibt viele schöne Sitzgelegenheiten auf der überdachten Terrasse. Auch die Tischtennisplatte haben wir häufig genutzt. Im Haus selber waren wir eigentlich nur zum Schlafen. Wir haben von dort aus etliche Ausflüge gemacht, unter anderem nach Padua, Este, Vicenza, Verona, Monselice und Venedig. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Ein wunderschöner Urlaub!

Это было божественно красиво! Замечательная вилла ! Есть абсолютно всё для прекрасного отпуска: кухня оборудована всем необходимым, удобные кровати, огромная веранда для отдыха, очень чисто и ухоженный сад. Objekt war wie beschrieben. Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt und können die Villa nur weiterempfehlen. Das Haus ist ein bisschen altmodisch eingerichtet aber sauber und es gibt alles was man braucht. Der Garten ist wunderschön und der große Pool ist ein Highlight. Vielen Dank für eine schöne Woche

Sehr schönes gepflegtes Ferienhaus . Eine unvergleichbare Aussicht. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Wir sind 2 Erwachsene und 4 Kinder und hatten mehr als genug Platz . An Ausstattung war alles vorhanden was man braucht . Der Pool war einzigartig , privat und groß. Es ist sehr ruhig , es gibt zwar Nachbarn aber die waren nur tageweise da und störten nicht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt danke für den schönen Urlaub

Sauberes, gepflegtes und bestens ausgestattetes Ferienhaus mit absoluter Privatsphäre; großer und schöner Pool; toller Ausblick von Terrasse und Pool auf die euganeischen Hügel; freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber; Tischtennisplatte, Klimaanlage in 2 Schlafzimmern; guter Ausgangspunkt für Sightseeingtouren (Padua, Verona, Gardasee, Strand, Vendig: alles in 45-90 min. mit dem Auto zu erreichen); gute Infratrukrur in der Nähe (Supermärkte, Tankstelle, Eisdielen z.B. in Este in ca. 10 min zu erreichen)

grossartiger Ausblick

wir waren zu viert in Familie mit unseren jungerwachsenen Töchtern und haben den Urlaub Mitte September sehr genossen bei angenehm warmen (Bade-)Temperaturen. Der herrliche Blick auf die euganeischen Hügel vom Haus aus und vom wirklich riesigen Pool mit sicher 20x8 m war überwältigend. Das große Grundstück mit Olivenbäumen, mediteranen Sträuchern und Pflanzen und den Pergolen mit Weinranken waren wunderschön. Es ist alles an Haushaltutensilien mehr als großzügig vorhanden, ebenso Handtücher, Handseifen, Toilettenpapier, Gewürze, Tee, Mikrowelle, KS, Kaffeemaaschine, Herd und Waschmaschine und einen großen Aussengrill. Es gibt ein Duschbad im EG und im Obergeschoss ein Duschbad mit Sitzwanne, dessen Einstieg ohne Haltegriff allerdings etwas abenteuerlich ist. Die typisch rustikale, nostalgische Einrichtung im gesamten Haus weist liebevolle persönliche Details auf, auch mit künstlerischen Bildern. Kleiner Kritikpunkt war der etwas schwierige Auszug des in die Jahre gekommenen Geschirrspülers sowie ein wackliger Deckenventiltor im vorderen Schlafzimmer. So etwas lässt sich aber schnell beheben. Silvano hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und uns alles genauestens erklärt. Wir konnten uns gut verständigen, auch wenn wir kein Italienisch und er kein Englisch sprach, verlief alles zügig und unkompliziert. Silvano und Francesca machen auch wohlschmeckendes Olivenöl von ihrem Grundstück, welches sie uns zur Verfügung gestellt haben. Man benötigt ein Auto und erreicht Verona, Padua, Venedig in ca. einer Stunde. Es gibt in der Nähe unzählige gute Tavernen und Restaurants. Ein großer Supermarkt in 30 min und weitere kleinere in ca. 10 min entfernt. An manchen Tagen sind unbedingt Mückenmittel vonnöten. Der Pool und Blick sind unschlagbar. Es war eine herrliche Urlaubswoche und wir bedanken uns vielmals für den tollen Aufenthalt.

Magnifique cadre idyllique qui vous plonge dans l’Italie, parfait pour toute la famille !

Nous avons passé une magnifique semaine dans cet endroit paradisiaque. Je recommande à toute ma famille et mes amis proche ce lieu si atypique et pourtant qui me rappelle mon Italie d’enfance !! Les propriétaires sont très avenants et gentil, toujours à la recherche du bien être de ses vacanciers. Maison très propre, très belle avec tout le matériel nécessaire (pour les moustiques et autres) !!! Chemin atypique pour accéder à la villa mais praticable avec un mini bus. Nous remercions chaudement Franchesca et Silvano pour leurs bienveillances Nous avons hâtes de revenir l’année prochaine !!

Ci dispiace molto per l'inconveniente zanzare ma purtroppo non dipende da noi. Abbiamo disinfestato dentro e fuori casa e abbiamo lasciato a disposizione gli strumenti necessari, lozioni e quant'altro ma purtroppo nelle nostre campagne è impossibile fare di più. Non crediamo per questo di meritare solo una stella.

We hebben met ons gezin een prima week in dit huis gehad. De locatie is prachtig met een fenomenaal uitzicht. Een groot zwembad (wel duidelijk wat ouder) ook weer "with a view". In de omgeving is genoeg te doen, zowel wat dichterbij (wandelen, adventurepark, kasteel) als verder weg (Padua, Venetie, Verona...). De directe omgeving is weinig bekend bij buitenlanders, dus de experience in bv de trattoria's is authentiek en het nivo verrassend hoog. Verwacht geen moderne minimalistische villa, eerder authentiek en rustiek, met naar onze smaak wel erg veel spulletjes van de eigenaar, wat soms het gevoel geeft in iemand anders' huishouden te wonen. Als je daar doorheen kunt kijken is dit huis een prima keus. Wij komen nog wel een keer terug.

Weekend spettacolare

Tutto semplicemente perfetto. Prima ancora di parlare della villa, però, voglio sottolineare la disponibilità di Francesca, che ha sempre risposto velocemente ad ogni messaggio e mi ha sempre aiutato in ogni passaggio della prenotazione, supportandomi anche quando ho avuto alcuni problemi con la piattaforma di Vrbo in fase di pagamento. Un grazie va anche a Silvano, gentilissimo sia nel check in che nel check out. La casa è pulita, dotata di tutto quello che serve, immersa nel verde, con una vista spettacolare sui Colli Euganei. La veranda, spaziosissima, ha un grande tavolo che consente di mangiare sempre all'aperto e numerose sdraio sulle quali ci si può riposare in ogni momento della giornata. Il giardino, molto curato, ha come ciliegine sulla torta un tavolo da ping pong e una piscina con vista fantastica sui Colli. Nell'area piscina, inoltre, sono presenti sdraio, tavolino, materassino e rete da pallavolo gonfiabile da usare in acqua. In casa, al piano terra c'è la "zona giorno", con cucina (completa di tutto), ampia sala (con divanetti e camino) e un bagno con doccia; al piano superiore c'è la "zona notte", con 3 camere (tutte con finestra, una addirittura con balcone sui Colli) e un bagno con vasca. Che dire... Un weekend spettacolare. Speriamo proprio di tornarci!

Grand JaM classic car tour

Thank you for our wonderful stay in Fontanafredda. The view from the villa was beautiful and we were very lucky with the weather. We enjoyed our early morning runs while still cool. Small areas of improvement would be welcomed by many, such as provision of a toaster, microwave, wine glasses for example (these items are listed in the amenities). However it did not deter from our enjoyment of the property. The BBQ was expertly utilised by Noel and we spent every evening outside on the patio listening to the crickets, watching the moon rise and sampling very tasty wines! Thank you for your guidance regarding the very active mosquito community! The provision of coil deterrents was appreciated. The Italian Tour Team 2019
