Mountain Heaven is a beautifully decorated 2 bedroom/1 bath cabin that sits on 2+ acres with views of the Rich Mountain Wilderness from the front door. Surrounded by native mountain laurels, the cabin is within walking distance of the Benton MacKaye Trail for those avid hikers. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed while the second bedroom has a daybed with a trundle--great for small children. Come enjoy this inviting setting which is conveniently located between Blue Ridge and Ellijay where there's plenty of shopping, wineries, and great restaurants to visit. Then relax at the end of the day with a soak in the hot tub. The kitchen is well-stocked with pots, pans, and utensils to make that perfect meal if you would rather stay indoors and simply enjoy the beautiful scenery surrounding the cabin. Cozy cabin

Nice cabin

The cabin is down a nice twisty road, somewhat secluded with a neighbor across the street and a few cabins visible through the trees. It has a wonderful view from the front porch. The kitchen is adequate for most two person meals and the bed is soft with a squeaky frame.

Perfect Stay

My husband and I had the best time at Mountain Heaven! We had an easy check in and wonderful communication with Sandy. The cabin is well stocked with anything you could possibly need, including a QR code to instantly get on the wifi and a shoppers card to the local grocery store! We felt very welcome and cozy during our stay.

A nice relaxing couples getaway

From start to finish everything was great! We enjoyed the jacuzzi, the cabin, and explored the area! Very quiet as well, we made alot of memories and look forward to going back in the future! Also, pro tip, we strongly recommend a SUV or 4 wheel drive vehicle for the road driving up to the cabin!

32nd Wedding Anniversary Celebration

The road to the cabin is a little treacherous in a standard car. The cabin was perfect for me and my wife, away from everything and quiet. It was a short drive to Blue Ridge which made thigs convenient.

Great cabin surrounded by nature

We love the space. It had an amazing deck and our pups loved the space as well. The bed was extremely comfortable and we enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings and cooking in the kitchen. Perfect way to spend a long weekend. Highly recommend!!

Mountain Heaven Blue Ridge

Mountain Heaven is a Beautiful place to stay. The name fits this cabin. Tucked up in the mountains is what I loved about it. Very clean, the decor is very nice and if you forgot something it’s probably there. Owners are there if you need them. You couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. I highly recommend.

A cozy getaway

This cozy little cabin was perfect for a long weekend anniversary getaway. The host was very detailed in everything and was so easy to work with. I even forgot some personal things in the dresser only to realize about an hour after we left. I texted her and she very graciously collected the things and sent them to me that same day.

We fell in love with this part of North Georgia mountains after vacationing here numerous times over our 20+ years of marriage. We bought our first small cabin for a weekend getaway for ourselves in the summer of 2016 and have since moved to Ellijay full-time. We wanted to share our love of the area by buying and renting cabins that we know our guests will enjoy as much as we did during our many vacations here. Mountain Heaven is our second rental which we purchased in April of 2017.

Why they chose this property

We purchased Mountain Heaven because of it's location within a quaint log cabin community between Blue Ridge and Ellijay. It's perfectly situated between the two towns and convenient to shopping and restaurants, combined with the beauty and seclusion of the outdoors.
