About this property

Traditional Spanish casa in the heart of town.

A charming and shaded townhouse in a very quiet side street just minutes from the shops and cafes. Very recently refurbished to a high standard with a luxurious modern bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and shady roof terrace with views of the town and the mountains. The Kitchen/dining room has a large dining table, a wood pellet burner and there is a high chair for infants. Our favorite room is the lounge at the top of the house, roomy, comfortable, with lots of light and equipped with air-conditioning/heater. Two bedrooms with double beds and one bedroom with twin beds. All with wardrobes. The house is on three floors, so regrettably not suitable for those who struggle with stairs. The kitchen / dining room is heated in winter with a pellet stove. We speak Spanish.

Great Central Location in Orgiva

The property is a little quirky with tricky stairs but it is very clean and well fitted with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The neighbours are very nice and friendly as well. The property as ideal for our 10 day stay & Mark was very nice and nothing was too much trouble :)

Mark is everyone’s ideal landlord - a quick response to all queries prior to booking, and welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful on site. The house is situated in the town just minutes from shops, restaurants and bars and makes an ideal base for exploring the Alpujarras. Mark has provided everything needed for a comfortable stay.

Excellent moment dans cette maison pleine de charme

C'est une maison originale dans sa conception, bien décorée dans laquelle on se sent bien. Elle est fonctionnelle et propre avec une bonne literie. Les pièces sont fraiches et ventilées avec une pièce salon en haut qui est climatisée, ce qui est très appréciable. Le toit terrasse est très sympa en soirée. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Mark. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette maison.

A beautifully restored old townhouse with lots a charm. Excellent central location in the town located a few minutes walk from shops & bars on a quiet back street. The house is comfortable and has a fantastic roof terrace with views over the town & surrounding mountains. Excellent communication from the very helpful host. Look forward to returning

Wunderbare Sonnentankstelle

Marc hat uns herzlich empfangen und durch sein wunderschön renoviertes Haus in zentralen Lage des netten Ortes Orgiva. Wir haben im Haus alles gefunden was wir benötigten um uns zu erholen und um für uns mit dem im Bioladen gekauften Lebensmitteln zu kochen. Ein besonderes Vergnügen war der erste Morgenkaffee auf der Dachterasse. Vielen Dank

La limpieza nula puesto que había pelos en la bañera con abundancia los aparatos sanitarios sucios el suelo muy sucio las sábanas sucias y los cobertores estaban hasta negros de no lavarlos. En cuanto a las escaleras había que pasarlas totalmente agachados porque no hay espacio en todos los tramos y eran varios tramos de escalera . Las vigas de madera con carcoma y larvas y se escuchaba el ruido en su interior.

Nos sorprendió esta revisión. Antes de que lleguen los invitados, la casa se limpia a fondo de arriba a abajo, los pisos se limpian con aspiradora y luego se lavan con lejía y detergente. Toda la ropa de la cama se cambia por sábanas limpias y la cocina y el baño se limpian escrupulosamente. El limpiador trabaja mano a mano conmigo durante el día y no nos salimos hasta que ambos estemos satisfechos de que la casa está lista para los próximos visitantes. Es cierto que si, como yo, eres alto, entonces hay algunos lugares en las escaleras donde tienes que agachar la cabeza, aunque la casa tiene más de dos siglos de antigüedad, así que tal vez no sea sorprendente.

Klimatyczny dom u podnóża Sierra Nevada

Bardzo klimatyczne miejsce położone w małej górskiej miejscowości. Właściciel osobiście nas przywitał i był dostępny przez cały czas pobytu. Taras na dachu, który jest niewątpliwie dużą atrakcją domu wymaga solidnego wysprzątania i może odświeżenia. Reszta w porządku. Malutkie sypialnie i strome schody wewnątrz. Nam to nie przeszkadzało, ale ktoś może mieć problem. Bardzo sympatyczne babcie sąsiadki:)

Nos encantaría que volvieran a reservar con nosotros. Alberto and Marisa have been perfect guests.
