Damage & House Rules Policy / Guest Responsibilities.
We inspect every condo at every check out. We again inspect every condo before every Guest Arrival.
We have documentation for each condo to assure the condo is good condition and working order before your arrival.
1) Guest is responsible to pay for any missing/broken/damaged items, extra check out cleaning & for a drain or toilet that requires clearing due to Guest clogging the drain or toilet. Every condo has a plunger for the toilet. If you clog the toilet, please use the plunger provided. Calling a Plumber is a Guest Expense. 2) Do not use the Kitchen Sink Garbage disposal for potato peels, fruit rinds, banana peels, pineapples, egg shells, noodles, rice etc. Calling a Plumber is a Guest Expense. 3) Sand: Please rinse off all sand (self and gear) before entering the hotel/condo (there are rinsing stations at the beach) to avoid extra cleaning fee and clogging the shower drains. 4) Lanai: Please do not hang towels or other items from the lanai. Please do not feed the birds. 5) No smoking in condo, on lanai or in common areas. Guest charged to have upholstery, drapes and linens cleaned, deodorized. 6) Guest responsible to pay for locksmith if they lock themselves out the of the bathrooms or damage a lock.

CANCELLATIONS:
1) Reservation deposit is non-refundable. 2) Cancellations made more than 60 days prior to the check in date can have the deposit applied to another stay at the same condo within one year of the original check in date. 3) Cancellations made less than 60 days prior to check in will forfeit deposit. 4) Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to check in will forfeit deposit and rental balance payment. 5) We strongly encourage you to get travel insurance so a cancellation can be recovered.

Rentals are not transferable to another party. No Smoking Condo. No Pets

Awesome Vacation

Property was great! We cooked almost everyday because it does get pricey eating out. My 7 year old daughter loved the space and the views. She especially loved the ice cream shop downstairs and the short 5 minute walk to the lagoon. Hopefully this unit is available next year, we would definitely return. Great stay!

I’ve been staying at the Ilikai regularly since 1989. I’ve always enjoined the very reasonable rates compared to Waikiki Hotels, along with the fully equipped kitchens. But the old girl’s getting on in years now (opened in 1964), and a little shabbiness is starting to show.

Great Room. Great Views. Great water pressure!

We received great communication with the property manager and for check in. The room is reasonably priced and was clean with a view of the lagoon, ocean and some city. Comfortable king size bed. The girls were okay with the sofa bed. We've stayed in many different condos at the Ilikai for the last 15 years and this unit has excellent water pressure for the shower, which is unusual!

Have stayed at nicer spots

The shower was dripping upon arrival. Chris supposedly fixed it. Dripping continued the whole 8 day stay. The picture seen online of the room was not what we got but paid for. Instead of a king bed we got 2 beds and a sofa bed. The unit was sold and we were never informed of changes. Other than that the place is ok. Hot hallways. Was somewhat disappointed. No compensation for change in room without our knowledge or have having to put up with the dripping all day everyday

Still dreaming of the Ilikai..

My second stay at the Ilikai and I thought our first condo experience couldn’t be beat. However, unit 1938 has won out over our previous unit! Clean, spacious, with beautiful views and a great location if you’re looking for something not as hectic as right in the heart of Waikiki. Only small thing for us that we didn’t love was there was a bit of a hiccup with the door locking at first. We had a good few minutes of frustration the first night as we couldn’t get it to lock. There was about ten minutes left in the management company’s office hours but I got no answer when I called. We were mildly distraught as not being able to lock it until the next day’s office hours meant we were stuck in the condo the rest of day vs being able to go out and explore our first afternoon/evening in Waikiki. Thankfully we persevered and figured out it was a matter of an older wooden door in a humid climate meant having to make sure it was held tight to be sealed before trying to lock it. In the grand scheme of things it was only a small blip in our stay, but I think slightly more specific instructions for locking would be helpful for future guests. We will definitely stay here again, and look forward to the next time!! :)

We were very pleased with our stay. Great stay for the price, a very good value for the area. The room was vey clean. It was always quiet all around day or night, which is very important to us, if we had any neighbors we never heard them. The room had all the amenities we needed and didn't need but nice to have available. Air conditiong worked great. Communication with the Host was minimal because not much was needed and there were no issues. Beds were a bit firm but OK. Enjoyed the beautiful view from the lanai. No problem with parking, always had plenty of open spots.

Beautiful unit

We loved the location of this unit. It was just perfect except that the water pressure in the kitchen was low. We contacted the management company but it was not corrected. Other than that the unit was absolutely perfect and we will stay here again.
