The property is 6 miles from the town of Leominster and 8 miles from the city of Hereford. There are numerous good local country pubs and restaurants within 8 miles.
Local attractions are plentiful and include the Black and White Village Trail, the local ruins of a motte-and-bailey castle, the historic National Trust Berrington Hall, Croft Castle and Brockhampton Estate. Why not enjoy a walk along the Offa’s Dyke Path on the neighbouring Welsh Borders, try hang gliding on the Long Mynd, canoeing on the River Wye, helicopter rides from Shobden, horse riding, fishing, golf, or indeed simply take a trip out to one of the neighbouring counties?

This is sure to be a hit with younger visitors, or take a 4-minute drive (2 miles) for some exciting ten-pin bowling or Crazy Golf at the Grove, Stoke Prior. The activity centre at Oaker Wood Leisure Kingsland and the Small Breeds Farm Park and Owl Centre at Kington are both well worth a visit.
