Lakeside Cabin House, 2 Bed 1 Bath

This is a year-round cabin with a fantastic location in Lakeside, MT. Walking distance to downtown Lakeside, grocery, post office, bank, bars, restaurants, and the city beach on Flathead Lake. Cabin is just off Blacktail Mountain Rd. making for easy access to Blacktail Mountain Ski Area and the cross-country ski trails. Two bedrooms, the loft bedroom has a queen bed (We installed a new railing on stairs 2023) , the downstairs bedroom has a full bed. There is also a queen sofa bed downstairs. There is one bathroom on the main level. Grill on the deck with an outdoor table and chairs. Relax and soak in the hot tub. Dining table with 4 chairs, New flat screen TV with Netflix and Hulu, coffee- maker, wi-fi, microwave, blender, etc. Covered parking. This is a family cabin with stairs, that may be difficult for toddlers and elderly.

This was our 2nd stay here and we just love the cabin and the location. It was a refreshing stay after a long road trip. We got to see plenty of wildlife and enjoyed the beautiful views. When we are back up in Lakeside, we would love to stay again! Scott was great at communicating and it was just a great experience overall. Thank you for hosting us and giving us a great place to make memories this summer!

Montana Get a way

Great property!, Perfect location- Quite, walk to restaurants, wildlife everywhere. Deck is perfect for relaxing. Everything worked as should. We will be back.

Wonderful Cabin close to lake...

The space was perfect for us. Kitchen/bathrooms had enough space to get around comfortably. Beds were perfect. Scott was very responsive and accommodating.Would love to visit again.

Cozy cabin in a great area

We loved this property it was just right for my friends and I! the cabin itself is super cute and clean and had everything we needed. We loved how close everything was and the wildlife in the front and back yard was amazing to watch. The hot tub is awesome and overall had an amazing time staying at this property.

Perfect basecamp

Stayed for the week while we hiked in GNP. This cabin was perfect. Set back away from the main road but close enough to enjoy the quaint lakeside town. Pretty central to alot of popular areas near the park. The back view is of the local waste depost. But its far enough off to not hear much noise . Would definitely stay here again!

Cabin in the woods

We loved this little place! Very clean and comfortable, quiet and close to town. Very well stocked and has everything one needs for cooking. There are a few other reviews that mention the steep stairs with no railing - a railing has been added. So it’s still a fairly steep stairway, but safe with the new railing. Will stay again….

Good Location

The location worked well for us for the activities we had planned. Everything we needed was there. We enjoyed the deck and watching the wildlife. Turkeys and deer frequently passed within 25 yards of us and didn't seem to mind us watching from the deck. The younger family members enjoyed the hot tub. The stairs looked a bit daunting at first but were easily manageable. We had a comfortable, woodsy experience and enjoyed our stay.

Great cabin with view & wildlife

We very much liked your north woods cabin! The wildlife was super fun. We had a new born fawn still with spots and spindly legs that would bed down in the wooded lot next door. we would talk to him/her from a distance every day. Turkeys were abundant. The cabin is snug & comfy-/says my wife. But I liked the animals most too.

We will be back

Great location, just a short drive to the lake. The reviews had mentioned the challenges of the stairs/ladder up to the loft. We did not find this to be an issue, on both side there is a rail providing plenty of support when going up or down. Property had everything you would need should you want to dine in and cook your own meals. Loved having the hot tub and spent every night out under the stars enjoying the peacefulness. Be aware that if you are planning not to drive and to walk to local restaurants and downtown, it’s probably an 20 minute + walk with some uphill areas. We had a wonderful experience and definitely are planning to return.

Adequate

There are no city street signs to locate this property, but we found it. There is a very far away lake view but definitely not a short walk to the city beach. The real view is of the local dump. The upper bedroom is too hot to sleep in so we chose the basement, either one requires stairs to the bathroom. The hot tub was not hot when we arrived. It takes a day to heat. None of the wastebaskets had liners, we had to place them in the containers. The plants were dry so we watered them, they leave a note for the occupants to do that. The toilet is flushing challenged. We left a day early. This place is overpriced for what it actually is.

Classy Cabin in the Woods

We had a relaxing, quiet time watching wildlife and hiking. Lakeside is very near and groceries were easy to get. Also restaurants and access to beautiful Flathead Lake. The only annoyance were the steep stairs to the bedroom. We are elderly otherwise it wouldn't be an issue. Go and enjoy!
