My favourite place. Been here a few times and loved every minute every time I’ve stayed. So peaceful and quiet and hosts are lovely. Can’t wait to go back again.
We really enjoyed our stay. Hugh and Claire are lovely, attentive hosts. They responded to questions quickly and the property was immaculate. The views are stunning and we were spoilt by the breakfast supplies. Thank you Claire & Hugh!
One of the most beautiful parts of Northern Ireland and the view from the hot tub is amazing. Ballycastle is an awesome small town about 10-15 mins away, and the hosts did a great job communicating throughout the stay. Would absolutely recommend others to stay here!!!

Spectacular views and very quiet. Host was wonderful.
A really special place. Stunning views. Cabin is beautiful and finished to a high standard. Had plans to go for walks but everything was so comfortable and well thought out that we never left the cabin until check out 2 days later. Hosts are lovely and have thought of everything. We wouldn’t change a single thing and cannot wait to go back. Thankyou so much Claire and Hugh.

We truly love peaceful settings in the rural areas of Ireland-with VIEWS-and this one was perfect! We needed at least 3 more days here-will book again-the hot tub was fantastic, the cottage stocked well with essentials for travelers who didn't pick up groceries-had coffee, tea, and breakfast items-just perfect! Thank you Hugh and Claire! Shelly & Brett
Amazing place for some time in the Irish countryside
We had an amazing stay at Hugh and Claire’s cabin during our elopement/honeymoon. The hosts were helpful and friendly. The cabin is beautiful, the hot tub was excellent, and it was great to interact with the animals on the property. Would absolutely recommend you stay here if you get the chance!

Fantastic property with fantastic hosts who couldn't do enough for us.
Even the poor weather did not take away from a great couple of days in a prime spot with excellent accommodation. 5 star treatment and everything you could think would be required was taken into account by the hosts.
All round excellent.
Beautiful wee property in a stunning location. Loved sitting in hot tub gazing out to sea and up at the stars - mesmerising. All needs are catered for in the cosy chalet. Handy for lots of good walks too.

Cute costal cottage with lots of amenities and essentials provided. Beautiful view of the Atlantic ocean and Scotland. Great location to Causeway Coast, including Giants Causeway and Rope Bridge. Hot tub was great too and a bonus after sightseeing all day.
Beauty and comfort that topped the photos and descriptions of this cabin. A spectacular place to land for our last 2 days in Ireland. Thank you Claire and Hugh!

Loved the challenge of the roller coaster roads, framed in varying shades of green dotted with sheep and cows. Giants Causeway better than imagined. The Glens area amazing, with friendly people and constantly changing sky’s.
Well equipped and comfortable wood cabin. Hosts supplied milk, bread, orange juice, eggs etc. which was very helpful for a short stay. Views from the property were great. Felt remote but still only a 5 minute drive from Ballycastle. Convenient location for many popular North coast tourist attractions.

I couldn't have asked for a better location. This cabin was so cozy, well stocked, and had beautiful scenery. Sitting in the hot tub each evening in the cool crisp air was a special touch. The location is exactly what I pictured when thinking of a trip to Ireland and Northern Ireland. I especially loved the communication from the hosts. Finding the cabin was a little difficult at first because we had limited signal. The host actually walked out to help us. The only thing I would recommend is to open the bushes up to where you can see the ocean from the hot tub. When sitting in the hot tub you cannot see a view of the water. Other than that everything was perfect.

About the host
Hosted by Claire and Hugh
I’m Claire! I’ve lived in Torr for 22 years and have been hosting Torr Lodge since 2019. When I’m not looking after Torr Lodge I’m generally tending to my animals. I have a wee flock of 60 ewes, 4 horses and 3 dogs - a border terrier named Archie, a german shepherd named Alfie and a working collie named Jess. I also have hens so there are always fresh eggs for the cabin! I absolutely love this area of the North Antrim coast so if you have any questions about your stay I’d be happy to help.
