Casa Fabregas is a large and authentic Catalan masia, ideal for several families, multi-generational holidays or groups of friends who want to spend their holiday together. It enjoys a peaceful location near Casserres in the Berguedà region, surrounded by nature and with beautiful views across the Catalan countryside.

The house has 11 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, two kitchens and space for 26 guests, with the possibility of up to 4 extra beds. You will also have a large separate communal hall where the whole group can gather, a private fenced swimming pool, a spacious terrace with BBQ and plenty of activities for children and adults.

With approximately 600 m², Casa Fabregas offers something particularly important when travelling with 20, 25 or 30 people: plenty of space. You can enjoy meals, activities and days by the pool together, while still having enough room for everyone to find a quieter corner when they wish.

THE HOUSE AND FACILITIES

A SPACIOUS AND AUTHENTIC CATALAN MASIA

Casa Fabregas is a traditional Catalan masia with several centuries of history. The stone walls, traditional architecture, rural location and views across the valley create an authentic atmosphere and an ideal setting for a holiday in the Catalan countryside.

With approximately 600 m² and several different living areas, the property is particularly well suited to large groups. There is plenty of room for everyone to spend time together without feeling crowded.

The owners live on the property and are nearby if you need assistance or advice about the area. The holiday home, swimming pool and guest facilities are private for your group.

LARGE COMMUNAL HALL – A GREAT ADVANTAGE FOR GROUPS

One of the main advantages of Casa Fabregas is the large separate communal hall. When 20-30 people are travelling together, having a room large enough for everyone to gather is important – and this is exactly what Casa Fabregas offers.

The hall has a large dining area where the whole group can sit together, as well as a comfortable lounge area with fireplace and TV. There is also an additional refrigerator, which is very practical for a large group.

The communal hall also serves as an activity area with billiards and table tennis, making it a natural meeting place in the evenings or during quieter moments of the day.

There are two bathrooms next to the communal hall. Just outside is the large terrace, creating a practical and natural connection between the indoor and outdoor areas.

TWO KITCHENS – PRACTICAL FOR LARGE GROUPS

Casa Fabregas has two kitchens, a considerable advantage when many guests are staying together.

The main kitchen is located close to the indoor dining area and provides good facilities for preparing meals for the whole group.

A second kitchen is situated on the lower level, close to the communal hall, terrace and swimming pool. This is particularly useful during the summer, when much of the holiday is spent outdoors. You can prepare lunch, fetch cold drinks or organise dinner without having to move far away from the pool and terrace.

Casa Fabregas has 11 bedrooms and accommodates 26 guests, with the possibility of up to 4 additional beds.

The bedroom arrangement is particularly suitable for groups consisting of several families or different generations. Five bedrooms have their own private bathrooms, providing additional privacy and comfort.

On the lower level, there are two spacious suites with private bathrooms and views across the valley. The rooms are spacious enough to work well as family rooms.

On the next level, there is another large bedroom with its own private bathroom.

The upper floor contains eight additional bedrooms. Two of these also have private bathrooms, while the remaining bedrooms share bathrooms.

In total, Casa Fabregas has 9 bathrooms, including the two bathrooms located beside the large communal hall. This is a significant advantage in a holiday home accommodating up to 30 guests.

PRIVATE AND FENCED SWIMMING POOL

During the summer, the swimming pool naturally becomes one of the favourite places at Casa Fabregas.

The private pool measures approximately 9 x 4 metres and enjoys a beautiful setting overlooking the surrounding countryside. Around the pool, there is terrace space and sun loungers where you can relax and enjoy the long summer days.

For families travelling with younger children, the fact that the swimming pool is fenced is an important advantage.

The pool is situated close to the terrace and communal hall. This means the group can remain together even when some guests are swimming, others are playing games and others are simply relaxing in the shade.

LARGE TERRACE, BBQ AND OUTDOOR LIVING

The large terrace is one of the main living areas during the summer months. Here, the whole group can enjoy meals together outdoors while taking in the views across the countryside.

A BBQ is available, making the terrace perfect for long and relaxed dinners prepared with fresh produce from the shops and markets in the area.

The proximity of the terrace, swimming pool, second kitchen and communal hall makes this part of Casa Fabregas especially practical for large groups.

Berga, the capital of Berguedà, is approximately 14 km away and offers shops, restaurants and other services.

Gironella, situated beside the Llobregat River, is also pleasant for a shorter excursion, lunch or dinner. Along the river, you can discover several historic textile colonies that tell the story of the region's industrial past.

BERGUEDÀ – NATURE, HIKING AND MOUNTAINS

Berguedà is an excellent region for hiking, cycling and outdoor activities. As you travel north, the landscape gradually becomes more mountainous.

Among the great natural attractions are the distinctive Pedraforca mountain and the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park, where you will find some of Catalonia's most beautiful mountain landscapes and numerous hiking opportunities.

The region also offers historic villages, Romanesque churches, mountain biking routes and a variety of other outdoor activities.

Solsona is approximately 35 km from Casa Fabregas and makes an excellent excursion.

Its atmospheric historic centre has narrow streets, old buildings, small squares, shops, cafés and restaurants. The town has retained a pleasant local character and is easy to explore on foot.

You can also visit the weekly market and take the opportunity to buy fresh produce and local specialities.

A DAY TRIP TO BARCELONA

Barcelona is approximately 100 km away, making it possible to enjoy a full-day excursion to the Catalan capital.

You can discover Gaudí's architecture, historic neighbourhoods, shops, restaurants and the city's many attractions before returning to the peace of Casa Fabregas and your own private swimming pool.
