This property is a mile from the beach, close to shops and restaurants. Delray is a fantastic location for leisure, as it offers a wide variety of activities:

The GreenMarket in the Park has become one of the most popular and charming aspects of "the season" in Delray Beach. Opening on Saturday October through May.

The GreenMarket is a Saturday morning destination as an open air marketplace offering off-the-vine produce and just picked citrus, fragrant baked goods, fresh cut flowers, blooming plants, and unique taste treats.

Of course, one of our main attractions is our beaches! Beach-goers have access to two miles of public beach-front for sunbathing, recreational events, swimming, and other activities.
A variety of recreational activities are offered at public parks including Miller Park where baseball diamonds, soccer fields, and other sports are offered. Pompey Park with a pool and Veteran's Park that overlooks the scenic Intracoastal Waterway. Bicycle rentals are near by.
A quaint downtown full of antique shops and art galleries, to a commendable offering of gourmet restaurants. Without a doubt, one of the best parts of Delray Beach, however, is probably the special events that they seem to be perpetually hosting. My favorite is the Jazz and Art on the Avenue series, which happens about five times a year during the season.

The Jazz and Art on the Avenue events are an amazing mix of interesting art, eclectic music, and the always charming sights and sounds of Delray Beach. There are countless bands that provide a perfect evening of live entertainment for music aficionados. In addition to the music, there is also a "gallery-stroll", art galleries open up for the duration of the event (6 pm to 10 pm) so that you can peruse their collections.

Great hideaway

This is a very nice little one bedroom set in a three plex. The grounds are lovely and well maintained. A short drive to Atlantic Avenue with shops and bars and great restaurants. The beach is a 1.5 kilometre walk and is outstanding! The area of the beach closest to you is very quiet and not in the least crowded. The accommodation itself has everything you would need with a very comfortable bed and fully equipped kitchen. The BBQ is an added bonus I hope to return next year Highly recommended.

Perfectly located, walking distance to the beach, restaurants and an adorable little French bakery. Lovely patio, and the unit was very clean and cosy, I had everything I needed.

Super beautiful place!

It is a beautiful place just a few blocks from the beach. It has everything you need to relax an have a great time in a wonderful location. The house has a complete kitchen,with pots and pans,a complete bathroom,the bed is super comfy. Wonderful plan for a few days or a long vacation!

Perfect size condo for 2 people. A pleasant 1 mile walk to the beach & downtown Delray Beach. We stayed just 1 week but look forward to coming back for 2 or more weeks.

Great neighborhood in Delray!

We had a very nice stay in Freddie's place. It was a great location and convenient to everything we wanted to do. Being close to federal highway was a bonus! The only inconvenience was a very squeaky bed. It was comfortable...but noisy.

Overall nice but could be better with low cost to the owners.

Overall it was okay. The owners were very attentive. When we arrived the apartment was spotless. After looking at the amenities we went shopping for food but also bought paper towels, toilet tissue and storage bags that were not in the apartment. The owners later brought all of the mentioned items (I did not call) I suspect whomever cleaned the apartment did not advise the owners. I suggested to the owners to add a grab bar in the shower. The faucet was broken and it was replaced; However time to put a new faucet in. The 2 cushions on the wicker chairs outside should be replaced. (I am in the commercial re-upholstery business so I note design wherever I stay). Be a good idea to power wash the windows. There were only 3 spoons and the knives need to be sharpened. I would go to the goodwill and replace some of the silverware. The pots should be teflon coated. It was a bear trying to clean after we made scrambled eggs. Time to replace the bed or use WD 40. Really squeaks loudly. Tom noted that the TV in the bedroom should be replaced. The price was reasonable for the apartment and we liked that it was close to Atlantic Ave.

Cozy Hideaway

I stayed in this location for 3 months and I must say that it was very cozy and private. There are 2 other units attached to this one but I must say we had complete privacy. The owner makes you feel at home by offering many different amenities and items that really make this place come together. I really appreciated the fact that there is a full kitchen's worth of cooking supplies and machines which you can use when you want to cook up a nice meal. There is a patio in front of the apartment that is also cozy and private which is great to use if you want to play cards or have a romantic dinner. I stayed during the summer months so the mosquitos were a problem but I am sure that this a less of an issue in during the colder months. The apartment is super close to the beach and where everything is happening on Atlantic while being hidden away in a residential area. What more could you ask for? Would definitely stay here again!

A great time

We had a fabulous month in Delray Beach! Freddie was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The apartment is in great location. The area is both quiet and safe while the beach and restaurants are close by. We took full advantage of the downtowner free ride service around town, went to a spring training baseball game, and took a yacht trip on the inter coastal. Our fellow renters were an added bonus.

The garden apartment in Delray Beach

We enjoyed the garden apartment very much. It was exactly what we were looking for. The out -door patio was a plus for either eating (after a barbecue), or reading the newspaper in the morning. We were there this October and unfortunately for us, there was the hurricane; but those conditions cannot be predicted in advance. We plan to return. Biruta and Ray (Illinois)

Happy in Delray Beach

This is our second year to stay here with Freddie. We really enjoy the quiet neighborhood and the easy access to the beach, restaurants, and shops. Freddie and her team keep good care of the units and respond promptly to questions. We have already booked time for next year. :O)

Phenomenal!!!

One of our best vacations ever....the unit was perfect. Everything was include, even a washer/dryer on premesis. When we noticed there was no vacuum cleaner as indicted they went out and bought a brand new one. The owners, staff..even the neighbors were fantastic. It truly was walking distance to one of the best beaches in South Florida. A great Publix, health food store and French bakery were also nearby. The incredible restaurants and shops of Delray were 5 min away. If we weren't looking to buy a place we would stay here every year.

Comfortable and Relaxing Stay

My wife and I spent 2.5 months in this unit and were ecstatic with our stay. The unit was well furnished, comfortable, and well appointed. The grounds were well maintained and the property is tucked away in a quite neighborhood that was safe and comfortable. I would gladly return to the property if I returned to this area.

NIce Relaxing Cottage by the Beach

When you first walk up to the cottage, you are hit with the most amazing smell of flowers. The cottage was exactly like in the pictures, very homey and relaxing. The beach was exactly a mile away. You could walk to the beach, but we chose to drive. We ended up spending most of our time on Atlantic trying new restaurants and shopping. We loved ending our day with a walk on the beach after dinner. This place was a good fit for us because I was traveling alone with my daughter, and I felt very safe. Freddie and her family were great hosts giving us privacy, but also available for recommendations and making our stay as easy as possible. We would definitely come back.

Easy Living in Delray Beach

Delray super cute cottage

Very comfortable, clean, and cozzy. This cottage was easy to live in, and the kitchen and bathrooms are really lovely. We also enjoyed sitting out in the patio every morning and evenings; very peaceful and natural, there's a tropical feel to the yard due to it's lush vegetation. We loved having our own grill. The owners were very accommodating and made the experience quite pleasant. Will be back again.
