We are Aperon, an apartment hotel on a pedestrian street in central Copenhagen, housed in a building from 1875. The apartments are thoughtfully designed, combining a contemporary look with practical layouts. All units have access to a shared courtyard and terrace with views of the Round Tower. With easy self check-in and fully equipped apartments, we offer the ease of a private home, with access to our hotel services.
The Space:
This one-bedroom apartment is located on the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd floor of our historic building. The layout offers a separate bedroom, a living area with a dining table for four, a full kitchen, and one bathroom, designed for up to four guests. The apartment has been designed with care, adapted to the structure and character of the property.
Amenities:
→ Sleeping: 1 bed (160 cm) and 1 sofa bed (160 cm), max 4 guests, linens + towels, dim-out curtains
→ Tech: Free high-speed Wi-Fi, Smart TV with casting option
→ Comfort: Iron + ironing board in unit, laundry shared in basement, eco-friendly household cleaning products (hand soap, detergent, dishwasher tablets)
From the shared inner courtyard, there is access to a shared terrace with seating and a view of the Round Tower. The laundry is shared and located in the basement, where there is also a luggage storage with individual lockers. The building does not have an elevator.
Since Aperon is housed in a historic property, the layout of the apartments may vary slightly while amenities remain the same.
Guest Access:
Our concept is simple: the apartments are fully equipped and carefully designed, accessed through easy self check-in with a personal code, and supported by a 24/7 online reception for anything needed before or during the stay.
Extra services can be arranged through our Guest Hub, including additional housekeeping, late check-out (available for purchase until 1pm, depending on availability), and baby cribs and high chairs at no charge. In addition, free mid-stay cleaning can be arranged for visits of eight nights or more.
Luggage can be stored in the basement, and parking is available through our Q-Park partnership with a guest discount.
The Neighborhood:
Aperon is set right in the historic center of Copenhagen, a few steps from the Round Tower, small pedestrian streets, cafés, bakeries, and local shops. It’s an easy area to explore on foot, with parks, museums, and everyday conveniences close by. We keep restaurant and café recommendations in our Guest Hub, and we’re always happy to share tips or help with bookings.
Getting Around:
Aperon is easy to reach by public transport. Nørreport Station is the closest hub, with metro, S-trains, and regional trains all in one place. From there, it’s a short walk through the old town streets. Taxis and ride-shares can drop off right outside the building. If arriving from the airport, the metro runs directly to Nørreport in about 15 minutes.
Other Things to Note:
The building sits in a lively and central part of Copenhagen, so some city noise can be expected. Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the premises, and pets are not permitted.
Interaction with Guests:
Our reception is available around the clock by text or phone. We keep housekeeping and guest support immediate and reliable, and we’re here to help with anything needed before, during, or after the stay. Fresh towels, extra housekeeping, or local tips are just a message away. Copenhagen has an incredible food scene, and we’re happy to share recommendations or help with reservations and transport if needed.

I don’t normally do reviews, but wanted to for this stay. These apartments are a wonderful choice for visiting Copenhagen. Clean, modern, SAFE… all the amenities you need. Laundry machines, storage for luggage. Iron. Hair dryers. Plenty of towels. Great location. Everything was great…. The only thing I missed was a toaster bc we stayed for 8 days and typically had breakfast there. Great choice for women traveling alone bc there were 3 locked doors even before your own apartment door.

Hi Alison! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review! We’re thrilled you found the apartments clean, modern, safe, and well equipped, and that the location and amenities added to your stay. We appreciate your note about the toaster and will consider it for future improvements. Your feedback means a lot, and we’d be delighted to welcome you back anytime!
The apartment was a perfect location for the metro and for sightseeing on foot and bike. Restaurants, cafes and gardens and shops were easy walking distances. The apartment was clean and well stocked and comfortable for two for the week. We used the laundry for one load, and it was convenient. We would definitely stay here again!

Hi Caroline! Thank you so much for a wonderful feedback! We are glad that we were able to pleased you and we would love to have you again soon! Best Regards, The Guest Relations Team
These apartments are ideally located and well managed. Last year my daughter and I shared a studio, this year with another family member we had a one- bedroom. While I miss an elevator for ylthe upper floor I really appreciate the keyless entry system, the ultra-clean laundry facility, and spacious bathrooms. We will definitely choose Aperon for future stays.

Hi Janice, Thank you for your wonderful review! We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. We truly appreciate your kind words about our keyless entry and amenities. We look forward to welcoming you back to Aperon in the future!
The full-digital communication process takes a little while to get used to, but once you do, it works well. The staff - via email - was very responsive both in information and timeliness of responses, sometimes within just a few minutes.
-The room was VERY clean and reasonably comfortable: plenty of chairs and a nice couch. We had an issue with a leaky coffee maker which was taken care of very quickly.
- The location was excellent!
- 24/7 use of washer/dryers (and detergent)!
-The only thing we did not like was that, although the bathroom was large, there was very little "put space" - that is, places to put your stuff - so all our toiletries had to be stored on the stove, and used in the kitchen. (This is not unique to this property. It seems people who design hotels rarely think about where people are going to put and use their toiletries.)
The other consideration is the fact that there are 4 floors of apartments but no elevators and the stairs are very long between floors with very high steps. This means that if you are on one of the upper floors, dragging your luggage up the stairs to your room is a huge physical effort; if you are old or handicapped, almost impossible. We'd stay here again ONLY if we could get the ground floor (which is still up one flight of stairs from the courtyard.). Again, this is not a criticism of the property, just a description of the physical characteristics and associated issues.
We'd stay here again! Great place!
