It is a very beautiful and cozy studio and we enjoyed staying at this accommodation. The beach is very close and also the little city center is only 5 minutes by walk. We had a great time and would come back!

Great location!

Very nice studio, close to the beach. The studio has everything you need: kitchen, private bathroom and a specious sitting area with a beautiful view!

6/10 Okay

Overall fine (some smaller things to be improved)

+Location is pretty good (close to the beach, train station, etc) +Quite stylish/comfy furnished -Studio could be better equipped (for e.g kitchen - no salt/pepper available), -Shower is „flooding“ the bathroom -It can be quite noisy if it’s windy since the flat is located under the roof Overall: price-value ratio is okay

Family time in Portugal! We have recently returned from a fabulous week staying at Villa Paraiso. The outside area and pool in particular are what really sell this property! Stunning! BBQ gorgeous as well. Location is hard to beat! Close to all attractions and local areas, you definitely need to hire a car though! The villa has ample space and well distributed rooms. We stayed as a family of 9 (6 adults, 2 children and 1 infant) and we did not feel like we were falling over each other. The dinning area and lounge are lovely as well and beautifully decorated as well. The negatives: it appears that some areas of the villa have been recently renovated and are great, where as other areas have not and are now very tired. The kitchen in particular could welcome an overhaul. The fridges don't keep cool or the door opens by itself or food freezes if it is too far back, etc. there was some items that would make the cooking facilities better such as additional kitchen utensils, etc. the dishwasher was showing its age. The property is advertised as having aircon but not all rooms have been added yet - crucially two of the bedrooms did not have aircon and this meant for a hot stay in August for some of our family members... the sewage pipes need looking at... the smell from the downstairs en suite was tough to stomach at times... Two of the bedrooms had been made with bed sheets missing. We asked for additional linen and this was supplied in good order - no complaints there! There was also no food or cleaning materials whatsoever in the villa on arrival. This could be a problem for anyone arriving late at night and the overall stay would be enhanced greatly by a welcome pack on arrival, i.e. loaf bread, butter, eggs, milk, dishwasher tablets, hand wash in all bathrooms, washing up liquid, fresh sponge and cleaning cloth. Small details that make all the difference to guests If the above was taken onboard we would stay again for sure.

Location, Location, Location

We visited in February. So it's proximity to the beach was not our main priority. If the beach is important to you, it is just footsteps across the road to the beach and the beach cafe. We used the accommodation as a quiet base for visiting Amsterdam and Haarlem. The train station is about 800 meters walk away. It was interesting sharing the commute, largely with locals, rather than fellow tourists. The Supermarket is handy and we tried some of the local restaurants. The Lebanese one was a good find. The accommodation was ideal for a couple. Its facilities are adequate and clean. Be mindful that the staircase is narrow so not ideal if you have mobility issues. We used it as a place to cook, shower and sleep in. If you want a luxurious spa, then look elsewhere and pay a lot more. This was a fair price for good accommodation. We would use it again and recommend it to friends.

Studio Bamboa Beach House
