In addition to the stunning golden beaches, restaurants, beach bars, and its proximity to Cristo Rei and Lisbon’s world-famous metal bridge, Trafaria is a great place for those planning to visit the nation’s capital and its surroundings, offering a direct ferry connection to Belém, an iconic Lisbon landmark (e.g., Jerónimos Monastery).<br>It’s a fully renovated beach house very close to the golden sand beaches of Costa da Caparica (1.5 km), Trafaria’s center and boardwalk (a 3–5-minute walk), and also to the ferry connection to Belém, one of Lisbon’s most iconic landmarks, from where you can visit the Jerónimos Monastery, the Belém Tower, the National Coach Museum, the Portuguese School of Equestrian Art, the National Palace of Ajuda, and the Belém Palace (residence of the President of the Portuguese Republic), enjoy the world-famous Pastel de Belém (custard tart), and use the train, bus, taxi, Uber, and bike options to explore the city center and the surrounding areas of the Portuguese capital, such as Sintra, Estoril, and Cascais. Trafaria is also very close to the Cristo Rei monument (approximately 9 km), where you can enjoy the most beautiful views of Lisbon and its world-famous metal bridge connecting both banks of the Tagus River.
