Thank you! Hoping you'll stay with us if you are ever this way again!
Just amazing setting for a lovely cabin. Very clean & comfortable for our 2 couple group. Great communication with host. Loved the front porch with the view, and visiting the friendly sheep at the edge of the property was a fun bonus. Would definitely book again!
It is a beautiful cabin in a beautiful setting! Clean, comfortable, by far one of the nicest VRBO's we have ever stayed at. Collette is incredibly welcoming and helpful. The location is so convenient to many activities. Our stay was perfect!

You were such great guests, truly, you couldn't have been a better fit. We love our guests and love to share our small bit of heaven here on earth. God bless, if you are ever this way again, please look us up!
Six of us thoroughly enjoyed our time here! It was great as our base camp so we could head out exploring in different directions. The best part was coming "home" to a beautiful view and sharing memories of the day with special people!

Aw Kim.. .it was so nice to share our view and the sheep and serenity here, with you! I wish it hadn't been such a bizarre week of fires in AK, pushing smoke to our valley AND constant firemen at my door needing a place to land for just a few hours. ALL of that kept me from getting to chat with your group a bit more as I'd have so enjoyed that! Thank you thank you for choosing to stay in our cabin and if you are ever up again, please come back!
We all fell in love with this cabin and the sheep. The location is spectacular and beautiful view of mountain range.
We only stayed two nights and wished I booked for longer.

Thank you so so much! This is what we LOVE to hear as we strive to provide a truly authentic Alaskan experience in a welcoming and memorable setting. We agree the view is amazing and we never get over it! Come again!
Quiet, serene, and picturesque. The host left the door open for us, with music playing and soft lighting for our late-night arrival. The beds were wonderful, the grounds lovely, and the sheep sweet as could be. Be sure to visit the yarn/ceramic shop on-site!

Thank you for the great review. I am always delighted when my guests have a great stay!
This cabin is wonderful and the owner is very helpful and has thought of everything you may need. Very warm and homey and even had music playing when I arrived. I will definitely stay here when given the opportunity to again. Thank you Collette
Colette is the perfect hostess! Her cabin is warm and cozy and the view is fabulous! It is the perfect spot to just breathe and relax. It is an easy drive into town to shop and for restaurants and the sheep are an added bonus! They love to be fed and petted and will greet you every time! I would highly recommend her place!
Better than described. We stayed here for nights 4 and 5 of our Alaskan adventure and we are SO happy with the cabin! We walked in on a rainy day and just melted into the peace and serenity of the cabin. If I were to ever list my own rental I would hope to do it as well as they have done!! Just perfect! I know it’s going to be our favorite stop of this trip!

Thank you for the great review. This is exactly what I hope for when I prepare the cabin for each guest. I love our cabin that much as well and I love to share it with others! Hope you get to start your own one day and spoil your guests!
This cabin was awesome and the views overlooking the mountains were incredible. The owners were very easy to work with and extraordinarily accommodating. The town of Palmer was quaint and easily accessible to Anchorage as well as multiple hiking trails. The sheep roaming in the adjacent lot were an added bonus for our group. The property is also almost certainly the best-stocked of any in which we've stayed during our considerable travels. We cannot recommend this property highly enough.

Thank you for the great review Dave! We always hope to spoil our guests and have everything they could need handy and ready for them. We love our view as well and enjoy sharing it with travelers. Hope you come again!
We stayed at the cabin for 2 nights and loved it. Lots of room and very comfortable. Only a little disappointed that the fireplace was electric and not a "real" fireplace. Kitchen was quite stocked and coffee bar was amazing!
Only two small complaints--with 5 of us, we ran out of hot water if we all tried to shower so some showered of a morning and the others at night; and their were towels in the washer when we arrived that were soured. Overall it was a GREAT cabin and I would highly recommend it to anyone!!
First, I cannot say enough about how welcoming Collette is. Not only did she make check-in easy, but she went above and beyond to make us feel right at home. Great communications well before arrival on the check in process, directions, local information, restaurants, etc. The home itself is in an absolutely beautiful setting. You could sit on the front porch or the swing in the front yard and watch the beautiful mountains all day long. Very comfy beds and all the amenities you will need. Furniture is all very comfortable and in good shape. Convenient location to a great many beautiful hikes and activities in the area. I highly recommend this wonderful home for your next vacation. The hardest part was leaving.

What an amazing Alaskan getaway! We had the joy of staying at the cabin while visiting family in Palmer for Thanksgiving. The cabin was warm and inviting- right out of a Hallmark movie! Collette had everything ready for our stay and we couldn ’t have been more impressed. We can’t wait to come back to the cabin for a summer trip.

Our family chose this property and knew we'd have a great view as we began clearing the trees with chains and trucks. Looking at that gorgeous mountain, Pioneer Peak everyday is captivating. I've climbed it 3 times now! My husband developed this neighborhood of 160 acres and we live on 15 of it. It is peaceful and beautiful. We are not far from town, but feel remote with a property covered in trees and through which moose meander on a regular basis. Joe and I enjoy motorcycling, hiking
Why they chose this property
If you are looking for a very nice, peaceful, safe, clean, comfortable place for your family or small group, this luxury log cabin is perfect for you to home base as you day trip around Alaska. You are only one hr from the mighty Matanuska Glacier and beauty in every direction. Beds are new, memory foam queen and kings. Wifi throughout for your convenience.
What makes this property unique
