A cozy cottage, quiet and peaceful, with an amazingly comfortable bed.

A cozy cottage, quiet and peaceful, with an amazingly comfortable bed. The hot tub is private and very welcome after a days exploring. The hosts are very friendly, welcoming and approachable. A bonus are the farm animals nearby. It's a drive to any shops and amenities and sadly nothing in the village as the pub has closed down, but if you want peace and quiet it's ideal. We went for a short break during the week, not sure about weekends as it's a wedding venue, but all in all would recommend highly

Lovely setting.

Lovely setting.Short drive to coast and other places of interest.Enjoyed feeding the animals on site and walking around the small lake/grounds.Owners really nice and helpful. Our accommodation (Hayloft) was spacious, clean, nice hot tub with lovely surroundings.Furniture needs a bit of an upgrade/paint.Bed was really soft & low. No coat hooks anywhere. Cooking utensils needed/ new pan.

Lovely place to relax and get away from it all.

Lovely place to relax and get away from it all. But not for people looking for lots to do as we didn't find much to do in the area, but we were just there for a relaxing quiet week so it was perfect for us. 2 beaches a few minutes away and a good sized Tesco nearby for supplies. The cottage looked newly done and was done well apart from the furniture needs a bit of an upgrade and could do with more kicthen utensils. Bath robes provided for the hot tub were a great idea! Would suggest taking sleep masks as there are 4 velux windows in the bedroom with no blinds so you're up with the lark! Also take hairdryer and shower gel, we assumed they would be provided as places we've stayed before usually have. Not a deal breaker but worth knowing. All in all a lovely place to stay to switch off from the world and recharge which is exactly what we wanted.
