Grateful to let you know that our repairs are done and the Blue Dolphin is up and running since last September 2023! Please check our calendar-not many days left in 2025! We are steps from the beach. Post Hurricane Photos have been added to show the changes to the landscape near our home. Please note that there is construction in the general area and these impacts are beyond our control as you plan a visit back to Ft. Myers Beach. Ask any questions you may have-we are here to help and bring you back to this beautiful island! Thank you for your support!

A BEACHSIDE with full beach front views! In paradise, this large, classic 'Old Florida' Key West style beach home features 5 large bedrooms and 4 bathrooms elevated on beach pilings with approx. 2,700 sq. ft. under air. Distinctive 'Old Floridian' metal roof, open and airy, our home is capable of accommodating up to 10 in complete comfort; each room is beautifully appointed, with stylish home furnishings in a Florida beachside theme.

THE FIRST FLOOR: has 3 bedrooms- one being a master with a private bath & a King size bed. A second bedroom has a queen-size bed. The third room has a set of twin beds, with access to a second full bath, shared with bedroom #2. This floor has a large dining room and fully equipped kitchen with a full array of kitchen appliances and kitchenware. The oversized breakfast counter and dining room is ideal for large group feasts. This kitchen has beautiful maple cabinets accented by Italian granite counter top.

The living area, one of two full living rooms, has beautiful French doors, allowing for spectacular gulf views, each leading onto an open, breezy deck with seating for outdoor dining and fun. Across from the living room, is a Cantina style bar with four generous bar stools to kick back and relax over a cocktail.

THE SECOND FLOOR: offers gorgeous panoramic gulf views from the living room. Sleeping arrangements on this floor include another master bedroom with a king size bed and private full bathroom. The second large room features twin beds with access to a second bathroom hallway bathroom with a shower.

All rooms are furnished. Linens and bath towels are provided. The second floor offers a laundry room with full washer and dryer, iron and board. Beach Towels and books, are also provided for your use. We have available a high chair & pack-n-play for our toddler guests.

Both floors have smart TV's, with access to Netflix, Disney+ and other streaming services. Just bring your passwords and log in to the speedy internet!

Property Address: 5420 Estero Boulevard--MID ISLAND-BEACHSIDE.

Area attractions: Close to great shopping. Outlet malls within a 20-30 minute ride are the Sanibel Outlet shops, on the drive to beautiful Sanibel/Captiva Islands. Also, off of I-75 are the fabulous Miromar Outlet shops, with designer and mall outlet shops. Bonita Springs has a wonderful mall called Coconut Point, off of US-41 north of Bonita Beach Road. This mall has great dining and incredible mall stores, in an outdoor, airy atmosphere. Many of your hometown favorites, like Target, Marshalls and other chain stores are in this mall. Finally also off of I-75 is the Gulf Coast Town Center with cinemas, an array of food and a very large Costco with gas pumps.

Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
If any furniture was moved during your stay, please make sure to return them to their original location.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No bright lights from May 1-October 31 allowed outside. Turtle nesting season. Bulb burn out on decks, must be replaced with YELLOW/AMBER only.
Recycle bin on wheels-pull out to street after 4pm TUESDAY for WEDNESDAY dawn pickup. TRASH is WEDNESDAY pullout for THURSDAY pickup.

Claire’s graduation celebration!

Granddaughters high school graduation trip with family. We enjoyed every day at the beach, found many, many shells, ate at some awesome restaurants and had a low country boil on the patio. The weather was great!

Amazing Stay!

This house is great! Centrally located in the center of the island. Very clean and great owner to work with. We booked for the following year on day 2 of our week long stay. Walking distance to Publix and the new Junkanoo/Fresh Catch location. I have been renting homes on the beach for 10 years and this was by far the best. Unfortunately all of the other ones are gone as well but we will keep returning to this property as long as we can.

House is perfect for us. Beautiful sunset view and from 2 decks. Very spacious and light. Ft Myers Beach still recovering from Ian and Milton so construction traffic can be slow but Publix supermarket very close and many restaurants nearby. Owner easy to talk to and contact. Would do it again!!

Perfect location. Easy private beach access steps away. Plenty of room in the house and on both beachfront decks. Kitchen was well equipped as we like to cook; especially fresh fish from the nearby Farmers Markets. Great communication with the owners. Will stay here again next year!

Our family has always enjoyed the beach. Our love of S.Florida and its diverse population is why we keep this location as our permanent home. Living on the east coast, allows us the 'best of both worlds', with the Gulf just two hours away.

Why they chose this property

When our children were young, we enjoyed going to a beach that typically was not too deep for our toddlers. This allowed us some flexibility in relaxing on the sand, with out the constant threat of deep waters for the kids. Typically, the warm Gulf waters will settle right about knee length, which is great wading water for kids. Teens can enjoy skim boarding on the beautiful waters. Jet Skis, paddle boards, parasailing, boating, fishing and tubing are some of the fabulous water sports are all at in your reach at Ft. Myers Beach.

What makes this property unique

We are afforded the luxury of being beach side (no crossing busy Estero Boulevard) yet, right off the direct sands of the gulf allowing for less expensive pricing. Direct Gulf front typically runs 10-15% more than the 'one back' homes. A true plus!!
