This is an excellent place to stay. The location is perfect for those who like to be near the high street. The host was excellent and very responsive. The house was fabulous, beautifully decorated and with all you would need for a stay. Our new favourite place in Whitstable!
Had a great time in Whitstable at Lilly’s Cottage. Great location, very clean, comfortable. Loved the quirky art work. Hosts were great. Would definitely recommend.
Very comfortable cottage with everything we needed.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great location to explore Whitstable and surrounding towns/countryside.
During hot spells, the town of Whitstable runs out of water without warning. This happened in 2025 and is now happening in 2026. This property (and all properties in Whitstable) would benefit from having litres of standby, back up water for brushing teeth and making tea. Or plan for water delivery when outages occur.
We very much enjoyed our stay in the lovely Lilly Cottage. It is within walking distance of all sorts of restaurants, the seaside and other local attractions. It is well-maintained, the beds are comfortable, and everything is nicely renovated and new. Dale and Nina are great hosts, and very responsive to little questions that came up over our stay.
Lovely contemporary and spotless cottage, well equipped and in a great location. Dale the host, was great with recommendations for places to visit and restaurants. Loved it!
Lovely cottage, even nicer than photos on website.Very conveient for high street, shops and restarants.Best self catering place that we have visited.Would love to stay again, but as an older couple with mobility problems, will no longer manage the stairs.
A friend and myself had a three night stay in Lily Cottage which was just enough to see the local area. The cottage is decorated to a high standard and all the fittings and kitchen equipment are also of a high standard. The lovely sunny secluded little garden is a real asset too. I would highly recommend staying here!
We had a fantastic stay in this lovely property which is in a great location in Whitstable.
It’s cosy with great decor, and the kitchen has a good range of cookware.
The garden was small but perfectly formed - great for the sunny days!
Beautifully quirky, very clean and very helpful advice and instructions.Glorious little garden. The whole property is obviously loved and well looked after
We had an absolutely brilliant time, staying at Dale and Nina’s. Really liked the decor of the house and the location is perfect. Everything worked well and no issues with parking close to the property as we arrived later in the day. Our children are 3 & 5 and loved the place too. We’ll defo be back, thanks for having us.
Excellent place to stay close to Whitstable centre and beach
Lilly Cottage is absolutely gorgeous. The decor of the whole place makes it feel homely and welcoming. The location is perfect too with the high street within 1 minute and the beach front about 5 mins away. Dale and Nina were great to deal with too and gave lots of local information prior to our arrival to make the whole experience seamless :)
Everything you could need for any length of stay. Especially happy with the hand wash - may seem a small thing but meant a lot.Garden is a lovely sun trap.
