Newport's city center is a little more than three miles south, so you're never too far from shopping, dining, or entertainment.

Inside, this home is beautifully and professionally decorated, with tasteful furnishings and a warm, soothing color palette. Subtle design elements such as rope and seashells speak to the home's lighthouse influences.

The parlor features plush furnishings, which are grouped to encourage conversation. Relax and catch up with your loved ones in this cozy room, or plan a family movie night and see what's playing on the flatscreen cable TV. You'll have everything you need to prepare tasty meals for your group in the spacious open kitchen, which includes ample counter space, updated stainless-steel appliances, and convenient extras such as a French press, a blender, and a mixer. Head upstairs to find this home's three bedrooms, pausing on your way to admire the banister at the bottom of the staircase, which dates to the 1890s. Two of the bedrooms feature queen-size beds, and the third bedroom has two twin-size beds, perfect for kids. The fourth bedroom in the tower, accessible via a ladder, offers a trundle bed, making it a great space for two kids. There's also one full bathroom and one half bathroom, as well as a laundry room downstairs. Altogether, up to six guests are welcome to stay the night at this vacation rental.

A few minutes' walk will get you from your front door to the beach at Starfish Cove, where you can stroll along the shoreline while you look for sand dollars, sea glass, or other interesting flotsam.
