Pool view from your private patio. Property is located directly across from the Gulf Of Mexico. Feel like going to the beach? Well, you can just simply walk across the street and you're feet are in the beautiful newly extended beach!This property is at a great location too! Just minutes from Galveston's Historic Pleasure Pier, shopping at The Strand Downtown, Schlitterbahn Water Park, Fishing Piers, Moody Gardens and fabulous restaurants! This condo is newly renovated and decorated with the simple and comfortable pleasures of vacation life. With the aminities of home. Parking is $50 per vehicle that guests pay directly to The Dawn upon arrival. This fee also includes pool bands. Pool bands MUST be worn while at the pool. Sorry no pets allowed. Book early! AC went out, hosts stopped responding

Our trip was going great, and we were really enjoying the place until a very light rainstorm somehow knocked out the power. The host responded in about 30 minutes and power was back on soon BUT the AC STOPPED WORKING the rest of our stay. When we messaged the hosts about the AC being out, they stopped replying to us!!! We were with our 2 kids under two years old, so this was a very frustrating situation and we were hot the rest of our stay. Nothing was done by the hosts to make this situation right, and they were very rude when I asked them to apologize for leaving us in the dust with no AC. I would not risk staying at a place where the AC isn’t functioning properly, especially with the location being in such a hot climate. The property is in a great location though. Maybe try another unit in this complex with different hosts. Very very very disappointed with how rude the hosts were, especially when their reviews were so high. Also, the freezer would randomly stop working and we’d have to reset the freezer by messing with the breaker. We couldn’t keep anything in there and we were stressed about our groceries when we were away exploring Galveston. Seriously guys, it’s not worth staying at a place where the hosts don’t seem to care about the units problems or the guests staying there.

Beautiful Facility

We only stayed two nights, but it was clean, nice and comfy. We had a wonderful time just walking the beach from our condo and having drinks on the pier. We got in late and did not anticipate having a car, but we ended up renting one and they were fantastic about getting it added on.

Nice little spot across from the beach!

Great location and easy access to local amenities. Well equipped unit along the beach with everything needed for a fun weekend getaway! Home Away From Home

We absolutely love staying at this condo! The location is perfect and out of the hustle and bustle of the busy part of the Seawall! The owners are attentive and very helpful! The pool is right out the back door! The kitchen and dining area are great and we love sitting at the big family table together! We have stayed here at least 6 times!!

Home away from home

Had an amazing stay on our weekend get away. Place was stocked with essentials that we needed, location was great -walmart just around the corner, easy walk across to the beach. We Enjoyed every minute, definitely a must stay, would definitely recommend to friends and family!

Great Place

This property was exactly as described it was clean had plenty of room we were suppose to have 5 people and ended up with only 2 but would have had plenty of room which was great. Pool was right out patio door. A/C worked great which was good because it was extemely hot Property manager was quick with answering our questions by email. Will book this property again.

Great location

Great location easy access to pools and beach. Condo has lots of stocked items available to use. We was here during the hurricane so the first few days before was great then hurricane hit and was not so great. I will say the management stayed in contact with us daily to check in and was very helpful.

Sort family getaway

We were a party of 6 . The condo was just the right size for us . The condo is located close to food, groceries and attractions. The condo was great being on the ground floor and right out the back patio is the pool area which was wonderful for my grandkids. We would definitely book here again.

Very pleasant stay

We just finished our first day in Galveston and had a wonderful time. The condo is in an ideal location. You can just walk out the back gate and ride into the pool area and then across the street to the beach. The pool was really nice, very warm, and well-maintained. The conduit itself was well stocked and came with everything that we needed, including Extra toilet paper, paper towels, and dish soap and laundry soap. The beds were very comfortable. All of us slept really well. The air conditioner was wonderful. Which is super important since it was flipping hot out there. The only complaint would be something that the owners could not have anything to do with and that is mosquitoes. They seem to linger around the pool area and our patio area. The sliding glass door was open even for a few minutes. They got inside and we did get bit. But there’s not much anyone can do about that. Mosquitoes are mosquitoes. Otherwise it was great and we took advantage of all the lovely restaurants and fun things to do in Galveston. We would definitely go back.

Beautiful condo

We absolutely love the Dawn! It’s our second year in a row coming for our vacation. We fell in love with the condo, although there were some things that can use some improvement so that is why this is a 4 star review. The inside of the condo was beautiful , spacious, and clean, but there are some spots that could use some additional cleaning. I dropped my glasses behind the end table in the bedroom with the bathroom in it and the floor area was extremely dirty/dusty with cobwebs as is the patio furniture outside. They really could use cleaning or new cushions because they were FULL of dust, pollen, sand, dirt, etc.. from being outside so they would get a little itchy to sit on. The tvs are very small and not smart tvs(surprising see how cheap they are nowadays),which was a bit of a bummer because we couldn’t steam our apps, and there are tiny little black bugs in the kitchen, especially near the coffee maker outlet. We bought some spray for the bugs and called it a day. The layout is great giving everyone enough space so we aren’t sitting basically right on top of each other. The owners made sure it has everything from toilet paper, towels, shampoos, even beach chairs, toys, and boogie boards. The location of it is absolutely amazing, right in front of the pool and the office. There is a small gate by the office you can go through to get to the Seawall so you can cross the street to get to the beach. We will definitely consider this spot again next year, you won’t regret it!

Close to beach in a safe complex

The property is very nice with a quick walk to the beach to enjoy the gulf. The heated pool was still pretty cool but still enjoyable. The hot tub is over by another building but is not an inconvenient walk away. The location of this property is the best part! Its proximity to grab and go restaurants but distance from all the hustle and bustle is great. Parking is no longer $35 - expect to pay $40-50 depending on length of stay. Towels and all soaps you’ll need are provided which is super helpful. The biggest downfall was cleanliness. Some surfaces were slightly dusty some baseboards are noticeably missing and a little more attention to this would’ve given this place a 100% in my eyes but an 85% isn’t bad at all for a home away from home for a week.

Galveston stay

Property was as described. Would be a good place to stay, nice central location to access beaches and shopping. Our only complaint was the furniture was extremely dirty and the apartment wasn’t clean when we showed up. If they fixed that it would be a great place.

Nice place.

Well they forget to mention that the parking isn’t free. And well I don’t mind picking up after we leave, but the host left instructions to start the dishwasher and wash the towels in the washing machine and throw the trash out at the dumpsters. Isn’t that what the cleaning fee is for? Maybe it’s just me.

Nice poolside stay

It was a very nice place, very spacious and comfortable. Fully equipped with everything you need. The pool located just next to the back porch, the beach in less than 5 minutes walk. We arrived after hours and didn't get the parking sticker until morning and saw some other car been towed away. You can pay for the parking through qr code they posted all over the place, and than get the actual sticker.

This spot is excellent for access to the beach, which is directly across the street from the Condo . Back porch opens right to the pool! Very spacious with everything you need. Decorated for a beautiful beach getaway! Beds were very comfortable, and it was all perfect! We will definitely book this SAME Location in the near future! Thank you for the wonderful weekend!
