Lounge Holidays are thrilled to offer No.3 Sea View Terrace, a lovely holiday ‘bolthole on the Rock’ in Barmouth. This period property retains many original features but benefits from double glazing and central heating. Situated on the ground floor, an open plan studio apartment sleeping 2.

This elevated location enjoys stunning views of the Harbour, Beach, Mawddach Estuary and Llyn Peninsula. Situated on The Rock.

West and sea-facing terrace, FAB views, and contemporary styling, it is perfect for ‘active/outdoor types’. Miles of sweeping sandy beaches and stunning walks are just a short walk from the studio, as well as Barmouth town centre with its shops and good pubs/eateries.

This elevated location enjoys stunning views of the Harbour, Beach, The Mawddach Estuary, and The Llyn Peninsula. Situated on The Rock, accessed via several medieval pathways, it’s not suitable for guests with mobility issues. There is a very steep road/path on the approach to sea view terrace, but it only takes five minutes to walk up to the property from the High St, any reasonably active person will not have a problem.

There is no designated parking, but guests have a parking permit for the main car park 500m away.

OPEN PLAN ACCOMMODATION:
With original stripped pine floor.

Sitting area
The focal point of the studio is an original Victorian, cast-iron fireplace and a big bay window enjoying lovely sea views. Seating for 2 on a faux leather sofa, with a 42” LG Smart TV for your entertainment.

Sleeping area:
With oak frame double bed, hanging frame for garments, bedside tables.

Kitchen/Dining area:
Separate by a breakfast bar with stools, the kitchen has numerous oak effect fitted units with granite look worktops. There is a 'SMEG' electric oven/grill and a SMEG 5 rings gas, undercounted fridge with freezer box, slimline dishwasher, toaster, microwave, kettle, washing machine, iron, airer, and ironing board. It is equipped with everything you would expect in a well-presented holiday home kitchen, inc pots, pans, glasses and all the crockery. There is a period dresser for storage, a drop-leaf table, and 4 chairs that can put up in the kitchen area for dining.

Family Shower room:
To the rear of the studio is the shower room, with a shower cubicle, handheld attachment, WC, sink unit, and fully tiled floor, and walls.

OUTSIDE:

Sunny terrace
A private sunny terrace with table and director chairs. Dine Al Fresco, soak up the sun, and enjoy the fabulous sea views over the beach and the Llyn Peninsula with Bardsey Island in the distance.

Sea View Terrace is in the old part of town where there's no vehicle access. Please be aware that all luggage needs to be carried. The access path and steps only take a few minutes to walk from the main street but it is steep and therefore not suitable for less able guests.

You are rewarded with stunning views over the town and coast, particularly at sunset, it's just a 3 minute walk back down to the shops, cafe's and pubs.

A free parking permit is included with your stay and the car park is approximately 400 metres from the property. You will need to collect this from the apartment on arrival and return on departure. There is a £200 charge to replace lost cards.

Where a 1-week minimum applies, our changeover day is SATURDAY.

Prices shown are in pounds sterling per week, inclusive of energy, heating, bedding and towels. Please bring your own beach towels.

We will consider one well-behaved dog, not a puppy. A £25 surcharge applies.

In order to comply with our agency holiday letting insurance, even though you have provided your details to AirBNB we will ask you to provide your full name, home address, the names plus the rough ages of all the guests, so we can confirm your booking. Your personal details will be kept secure and will not be shared with any 3rd party. We are fully compliant with the Data Protection rules. Charging of electric cars. Some of our properties are fitted with professionally installed and connected EVCPs (Electric Vehicle Charging Points) for the safe charging of electric cars. The use of an extension lead into a property that is plugged into a 3-pin domestic supply is strictly prohibited, due to the risk of fire by overloading the domestic electric circuit. Additionally, our owner's home insurance may be invalid if a fire was to be caused by such an act. We suggest that guests with EV's ensure that they are aware of the local charging stations before they book with us.
