Lovely, ideal spot

Great area, right in the middle of Ambleside. Nice pubs and restaurants in the area. Only problem was key locker was tricky to use and no extractor fan. But overall amazing stay

A lovely little character cottage

It is a tiny little place with real character. I loved the beams in the ceilings. The location is perfect - a minute or so to walk to the bus stops and the shops but in a quiet courtyard and if you were walking past on the lane you wouldn't know the cottage was there. It is perfect for one or for a couple. A really sweet little place.

The property is very central for Ambleside. It doesnt really have outside space and while described as 'romantic' could be said to be 'pokey' The facilities are functional although cooking anything seemed to take a long time, microwave heating is the best option, alrhough there is plenty of eateries in town.The bedroom is filled with the bed which could make the use of the bathroom in the dark, dangerous. There is plenty of cupboard space for luggage. The shower was excellent (often a weak point in other holiday homes) Lovely stay, in fantastic part of the country.
