Flat 4 - Appletorre House Holiday Flats

Main Building - Ground floor (4 steps). Large characterful studio flat with 2 full height sash windows with a fantastic garden view. Light, airy flat with bed/sitting room area and modern kitchenette with oven/grill, slow cooker, microwave, fridge and freezer compartment. There is a four poster king size bed and large screen TV with DVD and dining table and chairs.. Spacious modern bathroom with heated towel rail. Very popular.
Appletorre Apartments are situated on a tree lined quiet road, a short walk to the seafront, town centre, entertainments and the now famous Riviera Conference and Leisure Centre. Our Georgian building was converted into a number of en-suite, self-contained holiday flats in 1989. We fully renovated every flat after our purchase in 2015 installing new kitchens, bathrooms, decor, heating, flooring and double glazed windows.

Each flat is fully equipped with large freeview TVs with DVD player, kitchen with oven and hob, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, toaster, slow cooker, kettle, coffee machine and all pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fruit juice, milk and bottled water as well as biscuits and mints are provided as part of the welcome pack. Kitchens have kitchen rolls, washing up liquid, tea towel, J cloth and sponge. Bathrooms have tissues, toilet rolls, liquid soap and toiletries. Bedrooms have a hairdrier, clothes airer, electric fan and alarm clock.

DVD, books and games are available in the storage unit in the hall. Free WIFI is available throughout. Bedding and towels are included in the price. Rooms are serviced every four days. Laundry facilities are available with washers, tumble driers and ironing facilities. Wall mounted automatic electric heaters are supplied in the rooms as well as electric blankets . There is free WIFI, free off road parking and the garden has been newly landscaped and offers outdoor seating, barbecue, water features and is illuminated by night. Flats 1,2,3,4,9 are ground floor, 5,6,7 first floor.


Check in time is between 3pm and 8pm. Check out is 11am. Keys are collected from Reception on arrival.

Fab location - great value for money!
The apartment was presented well, clean, tidy with amenities for us. The apartments also have a beautiful shared garden, which looks equally as lovely at night! Andrea, the host was very friendly, able to help us and answer all our questions about the local area. The location is a short walk to the Torquay’s seafront with a number of shops even closer nearby! Can’t wait to go back!

I, Andrea, purchased the property in September 2015 and undertook a full renovation programme gradually installing new bathrooms and kitchens, renewing all heating, lighting and furnishings, replacing all windows and floor coverings and carrying out a full redecoration. The garden was landscaped and external evening illuminations and water features were installed. This programme was finally completed in 2019 but remains an ongoing process to ensure standards are maintained.

My background is in hotel keeping and international commerce. I hail from Leeds most recently where I established a high quality commercial and domestic cleaning service and holiday home business. I am assisted at Appletorre Flats by Tony, my Maintenance Manager, who keeps the place running efficiently and Terri my loyal and hardworking Housekeeper who ensures the rooms are well equipped and spotlessly clean. I am indebted to them both!!!
