Perfect tranquil cottage

Wonderful time with family in this 3 bedroom cottage in Danby. Perfect spot for visiting nearby attractions. Especially Brilliant with young children as plenty of walks and space near by for them to run about and plenty of wildlife to spot

Perfect group stay at ChurchHouse Farm—beautiful Yorkshire setting for our wedding weekend.

We loved our stay at ChurchHouse Farm—fantastic location, brilliant service from Rachel, and high-quality accommodation. The flexible setup was perfect for our group of 12, allowing us to be together while still enjoying private space. Great access to the Moors, Danby Castle, the Lodge, Whitby, Scarborough, and Bempton Cliffs

A very enjoyable two week break staying at Church House Farm

The cottage was immaculately clean, well equipped, comfortable, with exceptional views to the rear as was the beautiful and well maintained gardens. It was always a pleasure to sit, take coffee and enjoy the surrounding views. Abundant walks. A perfect, peaceful setting to relax, recharge with a short drive to pubs, shops and coastline. The area and accommodation exceeded our expectations. Would highly recommend, a delightful break. The owners were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Great location, great accommodation

Perhaps a little out of things for some, we found this quiet location to be perfect for our 5 day stay. There seem to be more cows than people in this valley, but there are very good valley and moorland walks and pubs to be found, plus the coast is only a short drive away. The excellent Moors National Park Centre is also close by. An excellent base from which we visited many places across the NP. We especially enjoyed the coastal walks and locations.

Thank you so much for your review we are delighted that you enjoyed the area and our quiet location. All good wishes, Rachel. P.S. The mobile phone signal for EE is excellent here at Church House Farm but other phone networks usually cannot get a signal as coverage is patchy in this area.

Lovely stay in a beautiful part of the world

We spent a wonderful week in Bluebell Cottage at Church House Farm. I've been to the local area for the last 40 years, but this is the first time here. The accommodation is lovely, clean, bright very comfortable. We spent the week walking, cycling and enjoying the quiet and scenery of this part of the world.

Great base for exploring North York Moors

Comfortable and clean lodgings for one week while we visited family in Ainthorpe. Stocked up on breakfast foods at Co-op in Castleton and ate other meals out or with Grandma. Lots of day trips (Redcar to Scarborough, Danby to Pickering).

We were rambling on our all-terrain scooters with Disabled Ramblers on the North York Moors.

We had a lovely week rambling on our all-terrain scooters on the North York Moors and knowing that we were going back to our lovely little cottage at Church House Farm made all the difference after a long and tiring day. A lovely location and would definitely go there again.

All the comforts of home in a stunning location.

It felt like a very comfortable well furnished home, with absolutely everything we needed. It is in a beautiful and quiet location, with dark starry nights, and moors hiking right outside the door. Very thoughtful and helpful hosts. We slept very well and wished we could stay longer. Perfect.

Such a peaceful relaxing place. Hosts Rachel & Rory are lovely, and v kind - they catered for my allergies, and sorted out secure storage for my bike when I wasn't using it (take a bike, it's a fabulous area for cycling - on and off road)

Great Mini Break

This is the second time that my wife and I have stayed at Church House Farm. Again the stay was as perfect as it could be. Rachel and Rory are great hosts. They are there if you need anything but leave you in peace. The cottage had everything that we needed.

Lovely cottage surrounded by beautiful countryside

Went on lots of walks in the areas such as Glaisdale, Goathland, Danby itself. Not far from coastal areas and other Yorkshire towns. Despite the bad weather forecast we had great weather. Advice: don't always listen to the forecast!

A lovely weekend stay at Bluebell Cottage.

We stayed at Bluebell Cottage whilst attending a wedding at St Hilda’s church and Danby Castle. The cottage was very well equipped and maintained. A very peaceful location with excellent views over to the church. Rachel is a lovely host who was very helpful and kind throughout the duration of our visit. I couldn’t recommend Church House Farm enough and we will definitely be back again for another stay. Thank you. Wendy

Rachel and Rory are amazing host's, the cottages are immaculate and spotlessly clean

A beautiful place to stay in breathtaking surroundings in the North Yorkshire moors. Its an amazing place to unwind and relax, the only sounds you hear are cow's and sheep. No light pollution gives you a fantastic night sky when clear. You are most certainly guaranteed a good night's rest with all the fresh air. Everything is catered for, you want for nothing in the cottages other than food and drink. We've been several times to Church House and each time gets better. We'll worth a visit
