Head downstairs for morning coffee, breakfast or lunch or weekly live music at Brewminatti; we offer complimentary Mercer Estates wine & access to our on-premises gym/yoga studio. We designed this suite with a nod to our female ancestors, but everyone will love the bed and 12' ceilings!

What better way to relax after a day tasting wine that with a good walk around tree lined streets or walking down to local eateries? Prosser is home to the Washington Wine industry where you can enjoy over 40 local wineries! It's also located in the largest hop growing region in the world. About the host

Hosted by Julie Mercer

Host profile image
I'm a Santa Barbara based designer from a large Washington ranching and viticulture (wine - Mercer Estates) family and value living in places that respect the land, waterways and oceans. My career was primarily focused on helping communities create thriving and healthy downtowns. Then I began a second career designing fantastic living spaces in many different venues from tropical Maui, urban Seattle, historic properties to beach town and outdoor living Santa Barbara.

Why they chose this property

Acquiring the the historic commercial Mercer building has provided me with the opportunity to open up a beautiful property with its original architecture (wood floors and 12' ceilings) intact for visiting guests. Complete with full kitchens this property is centered in the heart and home of the Washington wine industry. I'm passionate about creating beautiful spaces for people to vacation, live, enjoy entertainment, love, relax and cook! My background in community design, interior design and international travel has enabled me to see and experience beautiful buildings, architecture, and hotels. I'm always on the hunt for great textiles and fabrics to share with guests. "Sense of place" that reflects local sensibilities is important to me and something I try to bring in all my projects!

What makes this property unique

This handsome turn of the century property built by great grandfather Willis Mercer features 12' ceilings, 8 ' windows, beautiful original woodwork and wooden floors. Its a beautiful example of downtown Mission style brick buildings. Come enjoy!
