What a wonderful trip to Downings. We will definitely be back

The penthouse apartment was very spacious with lovely sea views. The accommodation was well equipped with comfortable beds, great showers and a well kitted kitchen. The balcony has a large comfortable sofa, chairs and coffee table capturing daytime sunshine with a barbecue too. We were a large party with 3 different accommodation sites but were all able to meet comfortably together here for a glass of champagne. Superb location with multiple activities available

Fantastic apartment, wonderful location

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the apartment is in a great location and was just what we needed. The check in and after check in support from the site manager was excellent.

Location/view/Needs shades on windows for sun/mirrors in bedrooms/more hangars/better serving dishes/Natalie was very helpful and responsive to any of my requests-she was delightful/David also helpful and responsive -Consider heaters to be able to enjoy deck more/

Superb apartment, great location and view!

We stayed in the penthouse apartment for 2 nights and found it to be very clean and had everything we needed! Location was so central to restaurants/bars. Kitchen/living area had the best view with huge window overlooking downings. Beds and pillows were super comfy!

A lovely property slightly let down by incoherent information and communication prior to our stay.

After we arrived, the staff were superb, and eager to remedy any issues. Beds were comfortable although we could have done with summer duvets as the automatic heating meant the rooms were overly warm at night. Kitchen was reasonably equipped apart from serving bowls; some basic info about workings eg of the tumble dryer would have been handy. The barbecue worked well (once some gas was supplied!) and the patio space was generous, and showed off the stunning panorama. We would like to return.

We had a great stay, fortunately we were there at the weekend as there is construction next door and the construction started up again on Monday morning as we were leaving. Not sure if construction was disclosed but should be if not.

Stunning place would love to return!

First of all wow. The penthouse apartment is really stunning. It's very well looked after in every aspect. Right down to the cutlery and pots and pans to the bedding and decor. Everything is top notch. Hear me out though, this place needs air-con. We had to drive to letterkenny to buy two standing fans because it was unbearable, it's like a greenhouse with no windows to open, only the sliding door, especially the downstairs bedroom onto the balcony. Air-con would sort this instantly.
