We visited Cortina to attend the Paralympic Games, and this apartment suited our needs perfectly. A beautiful apartment with such a stunning view to wake up to. Would love to visit when we have more time to explore the area.

This condo was perfect for our trip to Cortina to ski and see the Olympic games. The accommodations are modest, but well appointed, spacious and very comfortable. The views from the living room and master bedroom are stunning. And the host was very helpful and replied right away to any questions.

Wonderful house in Cortina

Very beautiful house and close enough to the city center. The views to the mountains are wonderful. The fact that it has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms is very good to support large groups. The owners were very nice and allowed us a late check out.

Warm cosy apartment

It's had everything needed for a comfy stay. Outstanding views. Plenty of hot water, good heating, cosy bedrooms, plenty of storage. Lots of utensils and cutlery for 2 families. Definitely recommend.

Great location, great views

The location is nice for walking into town, the views of the mountains are fantastic. My only complaint is the bathrooms don't really have showers. It is listed as bath or shower, but they are bathtubs. Also, there was construction right outside our door very early in the morning.

Have to walk up steep hill from town. 140 euro cleaning charge added after. See house rules. Linen charge. But agents were very nice and helpful. Offered a place to leave our bags after we checked out. Overall great place.

Back in Cortina (second time)

We came back this year after a very positive experience last year. Skiing in the Italian Dolomites is something different! Not only the landscapes are spectacular, the snow conditions are good and the Italian Hospitality is unique. That is clear from the very moment we came in contact with the family Piccolo who rents out an old fashioned (I mean old in a positive way) spacious family house. It is provided with all necessary kitchen equipment, and situated in a quiet neighborhood (we slept very well). We surely hope to come back for the Olympics in 2026.

Home from home. Lovely.

We stayed here for a total of 3 weeks, starting from the end of August through to the middle of September, which is a perfect time to visit Cortina. The apartment feels very much like a home and we loved our stay. It's pleasantly quirky with lots of homely features and worked really well for our large group. Very comfortable indeed and perfect for our climbing and walking group. It's quiet, although it is only about 10-15 minute walk away from the bustle of the town centre. The views from the balcony are absolutely fantastic and massive stag appeared in the garden during a thunderstorm. Really well stocked supermarket at the bottom of the hill and brilliant bakery in town too. Lots of restaurants and shops in Cortina.

Noisy location with near construction, trucks, jackhammer at 7:30 am. We expected a peaceful location. Window in main bedroom doesn’t open and close without getting out of wack. Kitchen need some repair: handles of cupboards etc.

Not good for multiple adults

One bedroom was ok for adults but the other three were tiny. Host charged us extra for using all four bedrooms. The three extra bedrooms are kids bunks only. Very small. Kitchen was quite small. Coffee maker was dirty (old grounds). Deck and floors were dirty. It's in a nice location but quite a walk up an extremely steep road--about half a mile from town. There is a very large hotel being constructed next door (a lot of noise).

Sera Mr. Squires, We are very sorry that our family home did not meet your approval. The apartment consists of 4 rooms of which, as mentioned in the description and as can be seen in the photos, one double and three with single beds, for a total of 9 beds ( all have all standard size). At your arrive not having received specific requests otherwise, 2 rooms had been prepared for the 4 people: the double room ( as your request) and one with 2 single beds. When, upon your arrival, we learned that you needed 4 rooms (one for each person) we immediately set up the other rooms as well. Additional costs are due exclusively to extra linen for single fifth bed not provided. Regarding the cleaning of the floors, we are extremely sorry: unfortunately the renovation works on the buildings behind the condominium have, as you have reported to us, caused an inconvenience for which we apologize. We would like to remind you and all guests that in the event of any type of problem we are available to our guests to contribute, where possible, to a prompt resolution. Our apartment is located in a quiet hamlet on the slopes of Mount Cristallo, easily reachable with a 10-minute walk or by bike from the center of Cortina and a starting point for excursions. However, we hope to have been able to appreciate the wonder of the Ampezzo Valley over which, from the windows of the apartment, you can enjoy a splendid view.

Ok but could be better

Great view, close to town and the region in general. Beds were very hard, same as rest of Italy. Pillows were unusually flat. One bedroom and one bathroom were not made available. Garage would not fit our mid size SUV but was not an issue for us in September off season. Plumbing made very loud noise after use. Couch was uncomfortable with a sheet like cover over it. If you don’t have a car like us then the walk up hill from town will be a bear. If you want to hike Tre Cime you need to get there early - even in mid September

Fantastic location with great views, spacious accommodation, everything in the apartment you needed. Comfortable beds and great to have 3 bathrooms between us. Easy to get into town, with a steep walk back - but you don't get the views without the height! A bit of building work going on around us but didn't disturb us too much as we were out walking for long periods. Old fashioned furniture in a good way, as it gave the house character .

A marvellous family stay

Noi (8 adulti) abbiamo trascorso una piacevole vacanza nell'appartamento di Beatrice/Caterina e abbiamo apprezzato soprattutto la vista spettacolare che si gode dallo spazioso balcone. Nonostante ci fossero anche nostre due nipotine molto impegnate, ci siamo sempre sentiti rilassati perché l'appartamento è spazioso e riflette chiaramente una vita familiare accogliente. La cucina è piccola e richiede un po' di capacità organizzativa per fare tutto al meglio, ma per il resto è ben attrezzata. (Se possiamo dare un suggerimento per il futuro, avremmo apprezzato molto la disponibilità di un forno a microonde.) Per raggiungere il centro a piedi ci sono solo 20 minuti di cammino, ma al ritorno la salita era troppo ripida per noi, nonni, per poter spingere il passeggino su. Questi piccoli inconvenienti sono però più che compensati dalla gentilezza delle persone che gestiscono l'appartamento: Caterina, sempre disponibile, flessibile e disposta ad aiutare, e Lucia, anch'essa sempre disponibile per questioni pratiche concrete (ad esempio il parcheggio). Anche se, o forse proprio perché l'appartamento ha già una certa età, ci siamo sempre sentiti a nostro agio e siamo quindi molto grati di averne potuto usufruire.
