This charming stone house welcomes you in a green setting, in the land of the Cathars. 20 km from Carcassonne, in the Aude region, this lovely holiday home is located on the outskirts of the village of St Denis. It is quietly located and ideal for holidays with family or friends. Around the village of St Denis, on the southern slopes of the Montagne Noire, you can enjoy cycling and hiking. Visit the numerous lakes and rivers, the vineyards of the Cabardès, Cathar castles, traditional markets (Revel, Carcassonne) and impressive caves (Limousis, Cabrespine). Canyoning is among the possibilities in the Montagne Noire. Tour the city and castle of Carcassonne, visit an essential oil distillery in Castelnaudary (22 km), take a break at the Étangs de Saïx leisure centre (25 km) and go rafting on the river Aude in Alet-les-Bains (40 km). From the terrace shaded by the pergola, enjoy the views of the Pyrenees to the full. The garden is enclosed and equipped with a barbecue, comfortable garden furniture for 8 people, a private 9 x 4.5 swimming pool (secured by a fence) and a swing for the children.
It is strictly forbidden to organise any student party, bachelor party or drinking party in this house

"Na een warm welkom door de eigenaar hebben we een heerlijke tijd beleefd in deze mooie vakantiewoning. Alles was netjes en schoon bij aankomst. De woning biedt een ruime leefruimte, een recent vernieuwde badkamer en een praktische, moderne keuken met nieuwe toestellen. Het zwembad is prachtig en wordt omringd door een mooie tuin – een perfecte plek om tot rust te komen in een stille, groene omgeving. Een klein minpuntje: de televisie staat in de ontspanningsruimte op de verdieping, waar het 's avonds vaak te warm is om comfortabel tv te kijken. Het zou praktischer zijn als de televisie zich beneden in de leefruimte bevond. Ook jammer dat de nabijgelegen voedingswinkel pas openging vanaf 16 juni, waardoor we voor boodschappen verder moesten rijden. Toch doet dit alles weinig af aan het geheel – deze plek is absoluut een aanrader voor wie houdt van rust, comfort en een prachtige omgeving."

Die Villa war wie beschrieben. Gut ausgestattet und groß genug für eine bequeme Party. Die Gegend war gut zum Wandern und Radfahren. Saissac bot alle Einrichtungen, die das Dorf nicht bot. Der Pizzawagen am Dienstag in Saint Denis war sehr gut.

Inställningen var absolut lugn, omgiven av grönska och de fantastiska vyerna över Pyrenéerna från terrassen var en höjdpunkt, Trädgården var perfekt för våra barn, med en gunga och gott om plats att leka, Vi uppskattade det välutrustade köket som gjorde familjemiddagar till en enkel sak, Varje sovrum var bekvämt, och att ha fyra badrum betydde att vi aldrig kände oss trångbodda, Beliggenheten är fantastisk för att utforska regionen, med Carcassonne bara en kort bilresa bort, Rekommenderas varmt för familjer eller grupper av vänner!

Ein sehr großes Haus ! Der Pool ist wenn man mit Kinder anreißt einfach nur super. Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig , und trotzdem gibt es drum herum eine Menge zu entdecken. Die Stadt Toulouse ist nur eine Stunde Autofahrt entfernt, der Lac de Saint- Ferréol nur 30 Minuten … Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für Lebensmittel sind auch vorhanden! Das Haus ist nicht zu alt aber auch nicht super modern ! An den knacken, und quietschen Türen muss man sich etwas gewöhnen . Tiere haben genug Platz um sich im Garten auszupowern, aber auch genug Möglichkeiten sich zurückzuziehen um sich auszuruhen! Egal ob man die Sonne bevorzugt oder lieber im Schatten bleiben möchte , beides ist gut und genug vorhanden. Der Hausverwalter ist sehr nett und ist telefonisch gut erreichbar. Wir hatten da mit unseren Kindern und zwei Hunde eine schöne erholsame Woche👍 Vllt noch anzumerken : man sollte genug Sachen mitnehmen wenn man nicht von Mücken gestochen werden möchte😊

Proper zwembad,alleen was het water te koud(september)ondanks het mooie weer..Het is afgelegen maar het is er erg rustig…misschien te rustig voor sommigen,maar voor ons was dit super,aangezien wij zelf aan een drukke baan wonen…Beide eigenaren waren super vriendelijk en gaven veel tips..het was ook fijn dat we er een paar uur vroeger mochten intrekken dan voorzien….heel mooie omgeving en heel lekker gegeten …dan heb je wel de auto nodig😉….was een rustige en fijne vakantie…

Déçu :la maison sympa mais la piscine HS( skimmer qui fuit donc remplissage journalier ,eau à 21 ° ),pas de ventilateurs dans la maison alors qu'il fait hyper chaud ,toute la vaisselle est quasiment ébréchée ,visite d'un des proprios tous les jours probablement dû à la piscine (on est quand même en vacances !!),bref pas top en qualité au regard du prix

The garden and pool were fantastic. The inside was uncomfortable, outdated and dirty. A lot of maintenance work needs to be done. The price is far too high for the villa.

Heureusement une belle piscine et un bel environnement

Extérieurement le gite est très avenant. Hélas une foi à l'intérieur c'est beaucoup moins bien. Le ménage a été fait plus qu'à la va-vite (par exemple des toiles d'araignées dans certaines chambre). Pratiquement aucune porte ne ferme correctement. A l'étage il y faisait une chaleur infernale malgré les courants d'air (l'isolation est nulle). Impossible donc de rester regarder la télé qui se trouvait hélas à l'étage. Par ailleurs il y a un manque chronique de vaisselle, de verres. Bref heureusement qu'il y avait cette belle piscine. Je ne recommande pas cette location, dommage.

Woning in het kleinst denkbare gehucht, met 1 winkel/bakker & geen restaurantjes die naam waardig. Vervelend toen wij er rond 20u30 aankwamen, na uren in de file. Ook weet je de dan die 1e dag niet goed waar naartoe. Omgeving : prachtige wandelingen in de natuur (bossen) gemaakt.

Aankomst was goed geregeld met de eigenaar. Je kan op je gemak naar binnen en de volgende dag kwam hij even checken of alles naar wens was. Accomodatie is lekker ruim van binnen en ook rondom het zwembad is er genoeg ruimte en ligbedden etc.

Leuk huis, wel verouderd en achterstallig onderhoud, was niet schoongemaakt bij aankomst, veel vliegen in huis, sleutel code pas om 17:05 per sms. zwembad is 3 dagen stuk geweest, eigenaar wilde het perse tijdens onze vakantie maken.

Groot gezellig huis met een leuk zwembad en mooie omgeving. De schoonmaak mocht iets grondiger gedaan zijn; bij aankomst vonden we vuile koffiepads, spinnenwebben, vuile tapijten, een oude vliegenvanger.. Verder hebben we enkele suggesties: we misten een bijzettafeltjes voor buiten (o.a. aan het zwembad), een droogrek en een koffiezetapparaat, de muren kunnen wat verf gebruiken en de helft van de lampen moeten vervangen worden. Verder een prima verblijf gehad.
