Holiday Home in Saint-Jean near Loire Castles

This is a historic 4-bedroom holiday home in Saint-Jean-de-Sauves. Built in the 18th century, it's located in the peaceful countryside and offers complete privacy. It is great for big families.

The surroundings are ideal for walking and cycling. Major attractions nearby include the castles and wineries of the Loire, the Futuroscope amusement park, and the Puy du Fou theme park. It is managed locally and it supplies quite a few restaurants throughout the region with its products. There is a recreational lake 10km away. The medieval town centre of Chinon is worth a visit. There's a supermarket 3 km away and a restaurant 10 km from here.

The home has wooden beams, natural stone walls and an ancient fireplace along with all the modern amenities. There is a large roofed terrace and a garden with furniture. There is also a barbecue. The home is child-friendly and has a children’s bed and high chair. You're allowed to bring 1 pet for €15 per stay.

The house is only heated by a wood-burning stove. During the winter months (October to April inclusive) you pay extra for this; this is settled in the service costs that you pay in advance. The accommodation is not heated in any other way. The wood stove provides sufficient heating for the entire accommodation.
