It is sometimes hard to believe, as you stroll along the tree lined avenues with their grand architecture, that you are only 5 mins from the bustling City Centre and just 2/3 mins to the M8/M77/M74 Motorways which means that it is easy head off in any direction. Dumbreck Train Station on the Paisley Canal Line is a 2 minute walk away and a short 5 minute hop will take you straight into the centre of Glasgow. Local buses are also nearby. I can’t say enough about how wonderful Sherbrooke is. Michele, our host, was absolutely amazing. The apartment is warm and welcoming with a beautiful patio and spectacular view. I booked this apartment for my team who were working between Glasgow and Paisley, they had a fantastic stay and found the amenities to be excellent. They all commented that they had a brilliant sleep and felt right at home. The link from Dumbreck station was excellent allowing our team to get to both Glasgow and Paisley with ease. We loved our stay here! The appartment was bright and clean with amazing attention to detail. All the essentials provided to get you started, with well stocked cupboards. Everything you could possibly need was there in the apartment. It was a great location for us, close enough to the motorways to be able to travel easy to visit relatives. The neighbours were all lovel, welcoming and helpful too. We hope to return!

One thing to note: the rental cost is based on the number of guests, so make sure to double-check your booking details. I offer "Home from Home" Self Catering Accommodation (Prior to retirement of Quality Assurance scheme Graded 4 Stars by Visit Scotland - The National Tourist Board for Scotland). I have an conscientious, knowledgeable but unobtrusive approach. I am a member of the ASSC - The Association of Scotland's Self Caterers so you can be assured of a professional and efficient service.
The most important thing to me is that my guests are happy. I know that, from experience, if you stay once, you will return again if you come back to Glasgow, as my many repeat guests do, time after time.
I graduated with Honours as a Teacher of Physical Education in 1982 and then taught in London. I worked as a Holiday Representative for Thomson Holidays for six years and I bring that valuable experience very much into how I organise what I do now in terms of hospitality, organisation and attention to detail.
I then retrained as a Teacher of Primary Education before meeting my husband and starting a family.
I started "Glasgow Self Catering Apartments" in 2007 and have welcomed thousands of happy visitors, many of whom return again and again.....

I have been operating since 2007 when I started off with just one apartment. I now operate four apartments (Graded 4 Stars by Visit Scotland which is the National Tourist Board for Scotland prior to their retiral of the Quality Assurance scheme) in two different but equally lovely areas on Glasgow's South Side - Langside and Pollokshields West. I was born and brought up in Shawlands on the South Side of Glasgow so I am very familiar with the area and its benefits. I truly want all my guests to experience the best of what Glasgow has to offer and so my locations were carefully chosen for their peaceful, safe and prestigious aspects. City Centres can be noisy, Car Parking can be non-existent or very expensive. My locations take away all this stress and yet allow quick and easy access to the hustle, bustle and excitement of the City Centre. Minutes from M77/M8/M74 makes this a great central base to explore the friendly City of Glasgow and beyond.
