The property was beautiful and quiet, with a large manicured yard, beautiful plants and flowers, a large very warm pool (95 degrees), covered outdoor patio and daily gardener. The 3 bedrooms were comfortable, each with their own bathroom, good mattresses. One bedroom did not have a screen on the window which led to mosquito problems. There was no living room with comfortable chairs for gathering. The main, and quite serious, problem was on our arrival night the ADDRESS WAS INCORRECT. Upon calling the host we were given a correct address number but the street was incorrect. Christina did not speak any English. Luckily we had a fluent Spanish speaker, but still Christina could not give directions to the property. Finally a Floresta resident and a Floresta Patrolman were called. He took us to the property which was on a different street. Getting the property door opened was also tricky with no clear directions. The property was not prepared for guests. No bottled water, which is essential in Mexico, towels hidden away in a far closet, extra toilet paper hidden in a large laundry basket covered with used towels. The supply closet with washer/dryer was locked and we had to call Christina to find out where the key was kept. All bedrooms were also locked. We had to buy a new battery for the garage door opener. In summary a beautiful property with no management or preparation for guests, and poor communication.

Que lamentable leer esta calificación, llegaron a las 11 de la noche y se les atendió paso a paso sin dejarlas, por la edad no sabían manejar el mapa de ubicación y no pudieron llegar a tiempo ni en forma, se les envío personal de seguridad para guiarlas hasta cas casi a las 12 de la noche, cuando la entrada es a las 3 pm, se les atendió a todas sus peticiones de manera rápida y oportuna, cuando no es hotel para tener toda la atención a cualquier hora. Todo se resolvió en tiempo y forma. La casa limpia todo el tiempo. Que desagradable leer a personas que consideran de esta naturaleza. Deberían rentar un hotel no una casa de plataforma. Saludos

FABULOUS 5 WEEKS!

So grateful we found this little piece of heaven. We leave with very full hearts. Ajijic has captured our hearts and we can't wait to return next year! Our accommodations were 5 stars. We were the envy of everyone we met here. Location can't be beat! Kitchen is well equipped. We enjoyed some meals at home but hard to resist going to the many many amazing restaurants that surround here. We were told there are over 500 restaurants in Lakeside. All about half price from home. We used our feet for transportation. Don't let the cobblestones discourage you, they get easier with time. Many thanks to our wonderful property manager alond with our maid Gaby and our gardner Don Ernesto. We can't wait to return next year.

Quiet retreat

Clean, comfortable and lovely grounds for relaxing. Secure property in quiet neighborhood. Short taxi ride to main plaza area, easy walk to Walmart, liquor store and coffeeshop/donuts

La Floresta Garden of Eden

Fresh linens weekly. Manicured yard has papaya tree, limes, oranges and a tree that produces a fusion of guava and strawberries. pool and spa outdoors. Also a jacuzzi indoors that has a moon roof. short walk to Walmart. Just beyond Walmart is a great seafood restaurant. (La Placena). Hosts are very friendly.

Very clean and well maintained property. Definitely recommend and would stay again. Host was amazing

Very clean and well equipped property and the service was great. Not their fault, had an electric outage and the hot tub didn’t work. Not the property fault. Really enjoyed the stay. Definitely recommend.
