One of the reasons we chose this property was due to having parking which was super convenient. Is a mile from downtown but we loved that aspect and ate at fantastic restaurants without the masses of people. It was clean, cute, confomfortable, well maintained. We couldn't have been happier.
Parking was easy. Place was Spotless!! Adorable and comfortable. Amenities were wonderful. The only problem we had was it was very warm out and it was stuffy inside. We couldn’t find where to turn on A/C. We turned on both ceiling fans and that helped somewhat so I didn’t bother the host to ask about a/c. The other consideration is it is located on the outside of the shopping/historic district so walking there would be difficult. But it was quiet and peaceful and a lovely little place.

Beautiful place to stay. Very clean, neat and had everything you could possibly need. Great location close to town within walking distance.
Lovely stay!
This rental was perfect for a couple. Amenities were very nice with upscale linens and supplies. Our host thought of everything including wonderful dinner recommendations and things to do. Easy parking and nice breakfast spots close by. Thank you!
This is a great apartment on the quiet side of town, a twenty minute walk from the start of downtown shopping. It had everything we needed, including a basket of welcome snacks and water. It was handy to be able to walk and leave our car at the apartment as parking downtown can be tricky if it's a holiday weekend and the scenic train is running. The host is a very responsive and good communicator and helped us with restaurant recommendations. We will stay here again the next time we visit Jim Thorpe.
This place was a gem! We thoroughly enjoyed the personal touches and guidebook left for us by the host as well as how clean and charming the place was. Would definitely recommend staying here for your visit to Jim Thorpe!
From start to finish Dee was amazing!! What a beautiful place!! She made our anniversary weekend so memorable. I would definitely recommend to anyone to stay here. We could not have asked for anything more. Thanks again Dee!!
The property is well-maintained and good for a couple. It is a little small, but amenities were great.

Thank you so much for your review and it was a pleasure hosting you! For future Guests, the suite is 800 square foot in addition to the use of the laundry room and the 10x12 outdoor deck. That makes it bigger than a New York apartment!
Clean accommodations and gracious host. Far enough from center of town for some quiet, but close enough to walk. Would highly recommend.

For me, spending time in nature and taking walks in the woods is not just a pastime but a source of energy and relaxation. The natural beauty that surrounds this town is truly cativating, and we want our guests to experience the same sense of tranquility and rejuvenation.
In a delightful twist of fate, I had the pleasure of meeting my husband, Mark, in this very town. During that time, Mark and his family owned and operated the Hotel Switzerland, which has now transformed into the renowned Molly Maquires Pub and Steakhouse. This connection adds an extra layer of significance to our VRBO location.
We are delighted to share our love for this town with our guests and hope that you, too, will find solace in the quietude, breathtaking scenery, and the fresh air that this place has to offer.
It is our sincere desire to provide you with a memorable and peaceful stay that reflects the essence of this remarkable town.
Why they chose this property
We chose this neighborhood for our VRBO location due to a personal and professional connection. My career in retail led me to discover the charm and potential of this mercantile building, which boasts a delightful storefront that instantly caught my attention.
Driven by a passion for vintage revival and a desire to create a space that prioritizes occupant comfort, energy efficiency, and overall space optimization, we embarked on a renovation project for this building. Our vision was to transform it into a remarkable retreat that seamlessly combines history with modern amenities.
In 2021, our dream became a reality as the entire building underwent a complete renovation. Every detail was carefully considered and crafted to offer an enhanced experience for our guests. From the preservation of the building's character to the incorporation of energy-efficient features, we have worked tirelessly to create a space that exceeds expectations.
Choosing this neighborhood was a natural choice for us, as we believe in the potential of this area and wanted to contribute to its revitalization. The result is a VRBO rental that not only offers a unique and captivating experience but also reflects our commitment to sustainable and thoughtful design.
We invite you to be a part of this journey and experience the transformation firsthand at our VRBO location. Immerse yourself in the charm of the neighborhood, enjoy the comfort and efficiency of the renovated space, and create lasting memories in this vintage revival gem.
