Beautiful Cottages at the hamlet of Meigh, in the heart of Ireland

A brief stay near family to che knout the significant Irish history here. Castles, coastline, golf, hiking, swimming, and farmland drives made this all a magical visit.

A lovely quiet relaxing holiday spot.

Loved the hot tub. Loved the open plan layout of the house. Loved the enclosed garden. Loved that we could bring our beloved dog. Really liked that everything was supplied. Really liked that staff were onsite & sorted any small problems immediately.

Perfect!

We had such a great time staying here with our dog over Halloween. We really enjoyed exploring the area and there are some great walks nearby. The cottage is beautifully decorated and has everything you could need to spend a few cosy days. You can tell a lot of love has went into creating them. We will definitely book again!

A fantastic break in wonderful accommodation

The cottage literally has everything you need from simple necessities like dishwasher tablets, bin bags and kitchen roll to wonderful facilities including a hot tub (which was set up for us each day of our stay), an outdoor TV and wood-burning stove. The accommodation is brilliantly thought out and the fact that it's dog-friendly too is fantastic. It's also in a brilliant location - 4 minutes from Slieve Gullion and 30 minutes from Kilbroney and Carlingford.

Great Location

We were on vacation and doing a costal tour of the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. We We We choose the location because it was close to Slieve Gullion, and we W wanted a place where we could relax before our trip back to the U.S.

Back again !

Having previously stayed at Clonlum we knew what to expect and weren't disappointed. The bungalows are very well laid put & equipped & very cozy even in a snow blizzard! Parking is more than adequate & access to the nearby villages, towns &the city of Newry is easy via the road network. Do try going off the beaten track though, the views from the local high ground are stunning. We will be back !

A very friendly holiday choice

First of all everything below is justified. From once we arrived we settled in so well. There was a small issue with the heating but that was sorted within 10 minutes. A beautiful area that would need a week to explore. Close to Newry, Portadown and Belfast. Top marks to Rowan on maintenance of the 3 cottages Beautiful place to visit even at this time of the year with a lovely Christmas feel to it. This is a place people should visit especially with kids, it's quiet but close to so much.
