Elegant Family House p/10 (Garden/Parking/Wifi)

Our elegant and completely renovated house offers a total capacity of 10 people and comforts as if you were at home: free Wi-Fi, high-definition television, radiant heating and a washing machine.

The house is distributed over 2 floors, on the main floor we find the bright living room from where we access the fully equipped kitchen area with the necessary appliances (refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, oven and microwave) and direct access to the garden. On the same floor there is a double room with its corresponding en-suite bathroom, as well as a courtesy toilet.
On the upper floor there are four double bedrooms, two with double beds and the other two with single beds, with large wardrobes and dressing areas. In addition, each of these spacious bedrooms has its own full bathroom for private use.
Outside the accommodation you can enjoy a large garden and parking for 2 vehicles, both completely private and free spaces for guests.

NO A/C during summer where temperatures were hitting 113f 45 celsius at times

The house is beautiful on the inside. Very Very nice. Seems new and smells new. As soon as I checked in (the person that greeted us in the property was not the property manager. Simply someone else I had never spoke to prior to arrival) showed me how most of everything worked but when I asked about the A/C (because it was very hot inside stuffy almost like no circulation) the person said "oh you have to reach out to Olivia about this as I have no idea" He did not tell me the house had no A/C. Otherwise I probably would have not unpacked and found a different place to rent/stay. That said, I immediately messaged Olivia, called many times then finally towards the end of the day I got a hold of her. She said her phone got damaged and has a loaner phone now. I asked her about the A/C and after she investigated it she let us know the following day that the house does not have A/C and that it should have been covered in the listing description. Clearly it was not. There's absolutely no way I would rent a place in Europe during Summer with no A/C. The windows open literally opens the door to centipedes, which we had a few. When I tried to take a shower in the master bedroom shower, the shower floor being that its flush with the bathroom floor the water flooded the bathroom almost right away. The drainage is not correct, causing a big issue for others that can easily overlook and slip. Overall, the house has a lot of potential but in my opinion (during the summer at least) its not ready to rent. Its just asking for negative reviews and that should not be the case. Finally, this morning I receive a text from Olivia (Wednesday morning, and I checked out Monday 7am) that she received a call from the neighbors that the lights are on and windows are open. I told her, I had left Monday at 7am and now you are reaching out to me about windows open (no A/C) and lights on (property advertises lights turn off by themselves which they did) Made me feel that the negligence is on them for not going to visit their property after the person that rented it left. How can that be? This is just like renting a hotel. When you checkout the housekeeper comes and cleans up the place that day and not two days later. Nonetheless, I hope they are able to learn from this so they can offer a much better experience to others and either put fans or AC in individual rooms or make it clear there are no A/C during the summer. Thank you

Buenas tardes Rickie, Es con una enorme sorpresa que recibimos tu comentario y reseña durante el día de hoy. Lamentamos mucho que tu experiencia no haya sido según tus expectativas y nos gustaría aclarar algunos de los puntos que mencionas para informar correctamente a los potenciales huéspedes que vean tu reseña. Muchas gracias por tus comentarios sobre la decoración y estado de la vivienda, es un placer escuchar estas palabras de los huéspedes. La vivienda no dispone de aire acondicionado, tan solo dispone de calefacción tal y como se indica en los servicios y en la descripción de la vivienda. El hecho que no se comente que no existe aire acondicionado, es porque la descripción de los servicios y de la vivienda se usa precisamente para indicar lo que existe en la casa. Como puedes imaginar, no tiene ningún sentido decir lo que no existe en la vivienda. De este modo, consideramos injusto que nos responsabiliceis por no haber mirado la descripción de la vivienda, que es totalmente correcta y veraz. Además, tan pronto nos has informado de tu cuestión sobre el A/C hemos enviamos un técnico el mismo día de tu llegada para intentar solucionar el problema de la ventilación de la vivienda y no le habéis permitido acceder al interior de la misma (aunque legalmente tengamos derecho a hacerlo en cualquier momento, si se sospecha de un mal uso de la casa, cosa que por respeto no hicimos). Además nuestro técnico nos informa que, con gran sorpresa para todos, que a su llegada se le abrió la puerta 10/15cm para dejarle el trocito justo para hablar y se le cerró la puerta de inmediato. Entendemos que al no dejar acceder a la vivienda la persona que aportaba una solución a tu cuestión, esta incidencia no era de mayor importancia. Es cierto, que han existido algunos problemas de comunicación debido a la avería del teléfono de la propietaria, por lo que te hemos pedido disculpas reiteradamente en diferentes ocasiones, y que en cuanto la propietaria pudo se puso en contacto contigo durante todo el periodo de tu estadía. La vivienda está ubicada en un entorno rural de Galicia y de este modo es normal que a veces recibamos la visita de insectos, principalmente si se dejan las puertas y ventanas totalmente abiertas, por el motivo que sea. Sobre el drenaje de los baños, lo tendremos en cuenta y revisaremos de inmediato los desagües de la casa, para evitar todo tipo de problemas de mantenimiento y de relación con los huéspedes. Con referencia a tu comentario sobre la salida de la vivienda y tus apreciaciones o comparativa sobre el funcionamiento de los hoteles, lo primero que hay que aclarar es que al abandonar un hotel tienes que hacer check out. Es decir, avisas al hotel de que sales de la habitación y en ese momento se hace una revisión de la misma para verificar el buen uso de la misma. En vuestro caso habéis abandonado la vivienda a las 7.30 am sin avisar a nadie y dejando todas las luces y ventanales de ambos lados, exteriores e interiores de la planta baja, y algunas luces y casi todas las ventanas del primer piso abiertas (que deben ser unas 20) de par en par, junto con la puerta de salida al jardín que quedó cerrada pero sin llave. En cuanto al automatismo de apagado de las luces, durante vuestra estadía os habreis dado cuenta que la unica luz con encendido y apagado automático es la del pasillo que deriva a las habitaciones. Tal y como habéis dejado la vivienda al salir podría haber ocurrido algún daño, entrada forzada, robo u ocupación indebida, en los 5 min siguientes o hasta que revisemos el alojamiento, que puede o no ser ese mismo día. Una vivienda de uso vacacional no dispone equipo de seguridad, ni personal en recepción las 24h, por lo que no solo fue una imprudencia muy grande por vuestra parte, sino que además demuestra una enorme falta de respeto por la propiedad. Asimismo y una vez más te manifestamos nuestra máxima sorpresa por no haber sido avisados de estas incidencias durante vuestra estancia, para intentar mejorarla. Por último, comentarte que aceptamos humildemente tus recomendaciones y comentarios siempre con el objetivo y compromiso de ofrecer la mejor experiencia a nuestros huéspedes y que haremos todo lo posible para solucionar todas las incidencias reales de la vivienda.
