Getting to Venosa by TRAIN Travelling to Venosa by train is not recommended, as there are no stops at the Venosa-Maschito train station—trains only stop at stations in the neighbouring towns of Barile, Rionero in Vulture, Melfi, and Spinazzola.

Getting to Venosa by PLANE Bari “Karol Wojtyla” International Airport (approximately 120 km from Venosa). Naples “Capodichino” International Airport (approximately 180 km from Venosa).

Getting to Venosa by CAR FROM THE NORTH - From the Adriatic coast, take the A14 Adriatica highway and exit at Foggia. Take State Road 655 (Bradanica), Foggia–Matera, and exit at Venosa Sud. From the Tyrrhenian coast, take the A1 Autostrada del Sole. At the Caserta interchange, take the A16 Naples–Canosa and exit at Candela. Take State Route 655 (Foggia–Matera) and exit at the Venosa Sud junction. FROM THE SOUTH – From the south, take the Sal
