5 night family stay

Great stay. Everything thats needed inside and outside the property. In walking distance to shops, a couple of bars and restaurants. We were looking for a relaxing holiday and thats exactly what we got.

Booking easy and convenient

For the good things, the pool was perfect and air conditioning was highly appreciated, there are lots of visits to do in 30kms around. The street was quite calm even if there are lots of houses everywhere. For the bad things, the big bins are not evacuated as soon as needed which is worse in the summer, so they are accumulating as lots of houses are using it. I think that’s why the consequence is there are lots of insects ( cockroaches) coming in the house and near the pool. It is the main black point. Beside that we enjoyed those 2 weeks mostly.

Het huis was niet goed gepoetst door de poetsploeg waardoor mijn vrouw wat tijd kwijt was om de lakens te wassen en de oven en het huis te poetsen. Het keuken gerief was niet compleet. Er was geen airco in de woonkamer waardoor het te heet was in de woonkamer en de ventilator koelt niet genoeg af. Verder was het huis oké en de ligging was ook goed veel te doen in de regio en winkels en supermarkten op korte afstand en de kinderen hebben genoten van de zwembad. Het contact met het huurbedrijf was goed reageert snel op de vragen 👍🏼

What makes this property unique

La Fuente commercial centre is 10 – 15 minutes walk away. This has a large selection of restaurants and bars to choose from. The centre has many bars that show all major sporting events and Premier league matches inc The Stray Sod Irish bar and tradewinds which have live music on every week. There are some lovely restaurants for all tastes including a Spanish restaurant ‘La Brasseria’ Steakstones, La Piazza, La Dolce Vita and Crystals to name a few we like.
A little further away is the Villamartin Plaza a 25 minutes to walk there and there are usually taxis outside the Plaza to bring you home.
This is a Spanish style Plaza with many bars and restaurants including Italian, English, German and Indian food and even a fantastic fish & chips . There is an area behind the Plaza for younger children with a games area (trampolines/air hockey) to keep the liitle ones happy
The Plaza also has many bars that show the major sporting events and football matches inc The Ale House, The Hub, The Tavern and many more.
During the summer there is usually live entertainment on a central stage.
If you would rather eat out locally, then the Pato Pekin Chinese restaurant is just around the corner as well as an Asian restaurant, a fabulous Indian Restaurant and ‘The Priory’ bar with live music. You can also just collect a takeaway from the Chinese/Asian restaurants. There is a lovely hideaway called the Secret Garden which is especially lovey lit up at night.
In the immediate vicinity there is a few small supermarkets
10-15 minutes walk away is a large supermarket ‘Mercadona’ and 15-20 minutes walk away is ‘Aldi’ which opens on a Sunday
