The property was as described and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The property owners were hospitable and access to Quonnie beach was a great perk!
Me and my family had an amazing stay at "the treehouse". We really enjoyed the direct access to Ninigret Pond, as well as the included beach pass. The cottage is located on the property of the owner's home, but they are very welcoming and helpful. We felt happy, and comfortable, the entire trip. Quonnie is the perfect place to beach, fish, kayak, etc etc. I highly recommend this cottage!
Everything you need. Bring some bathing suits, beach towels and food. The quaint upstairs was a perfect getaway. Weather was not on our side however, the covered patio area was an awesome spot to see bunnies, birds and fireflies at night time. Hosts are on the property and are extremely hospitable. Great restaurants nearby etc
We had a magical summer week at the Tree House Cottage. My three young children were enthralled the minute they walked in. The cottage has so much charm, equipped with everything we needed and more, and the owners Betsey and Chuck could not have been lovelier or more welcoming. I especially appreciated that the lawn and property were set back from the road; great for playing and exploring. Our favorite part was the shower house after the beach. The beautiful views of Ninigret pond were also wonderful. We can’t wait to return next year!
The property is beautifully situated near the large salt pond close by to Ninigret National Wildlife Refuge and also offers free access to Quonochontaug Private Beach, which is the nicest beach we've ever been on in Rhode Island! Our stay was very peaceful and the owners were very accomodating in every way. We weren't used to staying in a place where the owners lived on the property, so we felt we lacked some privacy even though they rarley injected themselves into our space. It was more a feeling than actual. The bedroom was a bit small and stuffy but comfortable. The upsatirs living area is a gem! It has a beautiful view of the salt pond and property and the breeze from the large doorway made the room very comfortable to watch TV or read in. We would definitely recommend this stay!

Nice location but it's a shared property
We stayed at this place in Rhode Island but were unaware that it's a shared property with the owners on premise. The treehouse is attached to the main house where the owners are which you have to pass to get to your place from parking. It is not private. The family has 4 houses on the property. We stayed there over the 4th of July week and the owners planned a 4th of July party with their family. This included party setup and about 20 guests on the 4th. We were unaware that it would be happening when we booked the stay. It would have been great to know that. We were planning a quiet week away. The beach pass is great and QEBA is a great beach but you should understand what you are getting with this place. The outdoor shower (which is inside) and kayaks are shared with everyone who lives in the houses on the property.
We had a great time at the tree house! The location is great! The property is beautiful! Lots to do for my teenage sons and their friends (that doesn’t include video games and being glued to their phones!!) - bike riding, kayaking, surfing the waves, beach relaxing, huge yard for spike ball and much more! Beach pass to what is now my favorite beach! 🏖️ The hosts were very kind and accommodating and were there for anything we needed! Overall, a great vacation!
We had a great stay at the end of June in the "Tree House". We loved the peace and quiet, listening to the birds outside the big window, using the kayaks, and going to the local beach. The location is also easy access to Mystic, CT, Westerly, RI, Narragansett, RI, and Newport, RI - all which we visited. Betsy and Chuck are friendly and wonderful hosts!
This property provides beautiful salt water pond access and kayaks, along with a beach pass for ocean lovers! The hosts are very accommodating and welcoming. This quaint cottage and has everything a family could need. Thank you for a lovely stay :-)
The cottage has access to Ninigrit Pond and Quonnie Beach! The landlords live next door but are the best hosts we have ever met! Layout of the cottage works perfectly with great character and its unique features! This is a can't go wrong! :)
A great place to stay. Perfect access to Ninigret pond. Lovely owners.
The hayloft is fun place to sleep waking up in the trees. Good size for a group but also for a couple. Smaller house rentals are hard to find and this is a good one
The Tree House is a comfortable, well equipped cottage in a great location. Kayaks are available and the pond access is just steps away from the door. The large patio looks out on an expansive yard with a view to the water. The ocean is a short bike ride away. There's a farm stand in the area and local markets nearby selling fresh seafood, produce, and prepared foods. Hosts Betsey and Chuck are friendly, helpful, and responsive.
Cottage is in a great location on a expansive property. We enjoyed our time, and chatting with Betsy and Chuck.

Loved our stay at the treehouse.
We had a lovely stay at this property. The grounds and view are beautiful, QEBA beach is spectacular and the owners were so welcoming. We enjoyed riding our bikes around the neighborhood, especially to the beaches in the evening and early morning. The quiet was a much welcomed escape during these trying times. We didn’t get a chance to kayak on Ninigret pond, which means we will just have to come back next year! Thanks for a lovely stay.
The cottage is adorable, the grounds are beautiful, and Betsey and Chuck were right there for anything I needed. Plus it’s up the road from the most beautiful beaches in RI Hoping to come back!
We had a great family week on the property. Just a half mile to the ocean. And the property is great for baseball, frisbee, toad-hunting, marshmallow-roasting, wild turkey-watching. The quiet is wonderful. Thanks.
Seemless stay at the lovely Tree House. Loved the cottage and its serene, yet convenient setting. Plus you can't beat the coveted access to pristine QEBA beach. Will definitely return. The owners, Betsey and Chuck, are delightful and very accommodating. Missing Quonochotaug already.
We’ve been coming to Charlestown for 20 years. We found a gem at the Treehouse. Private and the hosts Chuck & Betsy couldn’t be anymore accommodating . Very peaceful place. Can’t wait to go back!

Great pace for beach getaway!
It’s like stepping back in time with the untouched upstairs and looking out the barn door you can see all the wonderful wildlife as well as the beautiful Ninigret Pond. The beach is a great walk and wonderful sunset. The owners are such wonderful people and make you feel just like part of the family but leave you to do your own thing. So if you are looking for a little cottage for a small group you are right in the center of everything and if you need any help find anything just ask anyone around people are so nice. Highly recommended and will be back next year.

charming
This is an authentic Rhodes Island cottage with vast lawns; views and access to Ninigret Pond. Close enough to East Beach that we could hear the surf pounding at night. Rented the house because of the two kayaks available for guest's use and went out exploring the Ninigret Conservation Area nearly every day. The screened in hay loft like window in the second bedroom/living area makes this property an especially romantic place.

Lovely "Treehouse" cottage.
We enjoyed the lovely "Treehouse" cottage, relaxed at QEBA beach and also Blue Shutters Beach just down the road, with access Ninagret Pond and two kyacks included, close to Block Island where we biked around the Island and also Newport for a day trip, and owners were helpful and available.
