Excellent for Family vacation

Beautiful access to the lake, very convenient palapa, clean,. Water is unbelievable clear and warm. Internet is not very good, utensils are not good ether 😁, no A/C on dinning area. You will need a car for errands. It was a bit pricy considering the house and town amenities

Double booking!! BEWARE!

We booked our trip 3 months in advance and came to the property with another family in the house! We drove 4 hours from Cancun with family and friends from the USA to enjoy a few days in Bacalar. We were told the house was double booked and we had to stay in the house next door, which did not work out so well as my wife is handicap and had a bunch of stairs. What a nightmare!
