We loved our stay here! So nice and quiet but still very close to local shops. Communication with David was super easy and was happy to help us with whatever we needed. Overall great place for a long weekend away, highly recommend!
Can only thank our hosts for a wonderful break. Cottage was lovely, with everything you need. Very comfortable bed and a quiet, peaceful location. Pool and gym access amazing. We will definitely be back.
The unit was clean and comfortable. The location felt very rural and yet it was just minutes to stores. I was particularly impressed with David and his customer service. We were late arriving and David went the extra mile to make sure we had access to the unit. Everyone was very helpful in answering our questions and we had a wonderful stay.
We had a lovely stay over Christmas. The place was clean, cosy in a beautiful setting. If it hadn’t been for the bucketing rain and snow is would have been perfection 😉
Hi Graham, thanks for the feedback, I just wanted to clarify for anyone who is reading your review that we do supply electricity free of charge but we have a fair use policy which means some people have to pay extra but most don't.
We flew overnight to Scotland so we were exhausted when we landed in the morning. Though check-in isn't until 4pm, the owner responded promptly to our request for an earlier time so that we could get some rest. The property is secluded and had wonderful views out one the countryside. The unit was immaculate and suited our needs very well. We were in the area to visit our daughter and grandchildren who live nearby. We always try to book a self catering unit to stay in and the full kitchen was very well equipped for us to make breakfast or sandwiches. Thanks for making this segment of our trip so enjoyable.

cold
It was cold and we were told electricity would be extra!
So worried that it would cost a fortune to turn on the fan heater for too long. Also led to believe that the swimming pool was available if we wanted to use it as part of the deal. No it was constantly being used as a teaching pool for children. So only the odd hour here and there.

Hi Angela, thanks for your review. We do feel a wee bit aggrieved at your implication that we failed to give you the appropriate information within the listing. Actually we do provide electricity on a fair use policy and you would only pay for it if you overuse it. You never paid for any electricity so I am unsure why you would even mention this. As for the swimming pool: it is used for the swimming lesson but again this information is clearly displayed on the listing so it is a little unfair to suggest that you were unaware about this fact before you reserved the property.
Cottage created from farm building, ideal for two(and perhaps one young child).Well equipped, nice swimmimg pool but you have to work around swimming lessons which was no problem. A large paddock to let the dog off the lead, beutiful views of the Irvine valley and when the weather is clear you can see the Isle of Arran and the firth of Clyde. Itis a quiet spot on the hillside but you are 1 1/2 miles from the village, 2 miles from Tesco's but you are central to a lot of the attractions of Ayreshire. There are beutiful large sandy beaches at Ayre, Troon and Irvine as well as pubs that do good food, most car parks are free, I never paid once in two weeks.
Freundliche Aufnahme und Übergabe des Objekts. Alles vorhanden was man so braucht.
